I'm tired. I basically only have food feels and my hatred of vinyl siding right now.

One year olds are the best I agree with this. The whole "wait until he walks..." did not happen for us. He was much more delightful once he started walking.

I took the trash out in my pajamas this morning. No bra. Hair was a ridiculous mess. Random long sleeved shirt paired with spandex shorts. Hawt. And of course my neighbor was out there, too. Lol. But she was in her nightgown so I guess she doesn't care either.

The baby keeps humping things and it's weird and hilarious.

One year olds are the best I love one year olds! When I taught at the daycare, the one year old class was my jam. They're young enough they don't really talk back much and they're old enough to be able to do fun stuff. And the way they learn to talk is so damn cute.

I find my outdoorsy, white husband very attractive, but I totally have a thing for more clean-cut, athletic black men.

I've given up on shaving my legs for the summer, even though it's still high 80's here. Hopefully fall comes soon 😬.

I made a big deal to MIL about SIL not coming to E and A's bday party tomorrow. She's DH's only sibling and he was so hurt but wouldn't say anything - she decided to go on a last min trip to Vegas with friends instead... but really, I'm actually kinda glad she won't be here.

I was happy when my period showed up because it meant we weren't going to have sex last night. I just don't enjoy it right now.

I'm listening to the Minimalists podcast and also dreaming of the 2800 sq ft house we are thinking of building. I think this is a confession...

I'm listening to the Minimalists podcast and also dreaming of the 2800 sq ft house we are thinking of building. I think this is a confession... The only reason I wouldn't get a 2800 sq ft house is because 1. I wouldn't have enough budget left to pay someone to clean it. 2. and I don't want to be in charge of cleaning that amount of space by myself 3. I don't want to be house poor (see note below). We might live in an area that has crazy housing prices.

I miss living in our old house that was quite tiny because it was easier to clean. And although I enjoy having DS's bedroom on an upstairs level in our new house because of noise issues, cleaning a single level home was so much more convenient.

My problem is I work FT from home. M stays home with the kids. There is no quiet place. I agree completely with the reasons not to have a bigger home.

We moved into this place from a house that was 2200 sq feet so we have downsized a lot! I am glad we did it, but it sucked.

Our new house is 2700 and MH works from home a lot. His office is in the finished attic and it's nice and quiet up there. It's been perfect for us. I also was worried about maintaining that amount of space after only living in apartments but now I'm not sure I can imagine moving to a smaller space if he continues to be working from home most days of the week.

Our house is like 1600 sq feet and feels too small when you want some quiet space. I feel like a nice 2000 would be great. But we aren't moving any time soon.

Sometimes. This summer it has been different day to day, but they have been home with me 3 or 4 days a week. DD1 just started K this week (our schools are 4 days a week.) DD2 will go to daycare M,T. So M,T I am home alone. W,R I only have DD2, and F I have them both. It should be getting much easier.

With the 4 of us and 4 animals, and planning for more kids next year, I don't think we could live in anything smaller for quite a while. We have 3700 square feet, but live in a vlcol area.

My house is 3000 square feet. My last house was 1000 square feet.
I regret absolutely nothing. My house is glorious. I clean it well enough on my own, currently. I love that I can have a horde of children, and houseguests, and quiet space. I feel very lucky.
I don't have shit everywhere, but I am not a minimalist.

We have 1500 square feet over two storeys+ finished basement. I hate cleaning this house. I dream of a tiny house.

I would much rather vacuum a huge house with nothing in it than a tiny house where you have to move tons of crap from one side of the room to the other.
