Now that most of us have had our anatomy scans, have you narrowed down a list or decided on names? Or if you're team green, have you decided on both boy and girl names?

We've had names picked out for a long time, so no major decision on our part now, really. First name comes from my maiden name, middle name is H's first. H is a junior but his full name plus "The Third" was a little too much

Yesterday we saw my dad and his wife and she asked if we had decided on rhyming names for the twins. I thought it was a funny question.
Anyways, we picked Siena for a girl pretty early on and I really like Noelle for a middle name.
For baby B we are thinking Paris Valentina, but aren't 100% sold. Other names we like are Camilla, Bianca, Gabriella, Kristianna. We seem to have a thing for names that end in A.
If we were having a boy, we would definitely use Lucca Christian.

Lowen is for sure the first name. I want Lowen Michael. Sounds really good with his brother's name Emmett Christopher.

We've had our names picked for years. Augustus Glenn for a boy and Sylvia Marie for a girl! Baby is a boy. I did for a minute consider doing Glenn Augustus but Augustus won out!

veganontuesdays I think we are sold on Paris for a first name. Siena was my idea and it's a city in Italy that we visited and loved. And then H suggested Paris because I've always had a love of all things French and Paris is also one of my favorite places. Middle name is where we aren't really sure. We definitely want something Italian (Kristianna would be a stretch lol but basically another version of my name). Camilla was originally my favorite girl name but H doesn't really like it, I've kept it on the list anyways! I figure we'll decide as it gets closer, or at the very latest be able to decide from our short list once she's in our arms.

In all seriousness, we haven't even talked names yet. We had a hard time with a small list last time, so this time will be hard again. I'm hoping we can figure out a few solid boy names because we had 2 last time and weren't 100%.
Names are hard, yo!!!! It's so permanent!

I have a name that I love in theory, but is it a good name in real life?! Dh is not in love with it. I have a feeling this kid is going a day without a name too! Lol

We have not decided on a name. DH likes Sophia Elise but I don't feel like she's a Sophia! I don't know what name I feel like fits her yet. I do like Elise for a middle name though. What we'll probably do is what we did last time and have a few names on a list and decide when we finally meet her what she looks like!

Emmett James is the top of our list right now. I will probably pick another name and see which he looks like. James will be the middle name no matter what as it is FIL name. N has my dad's name as his middle name. I'm INCREDIBLY picky about boys names, so finding a second name is going to be tough.

I'm not big on NN but we would call him Theo I think. I like classic names and this one isn't common. I still love it. But the few ppl we told after DD was born said things that made me wonder. Step dad said it sounds like an egghead name and I got mad and quickly told him we could have a son later so he should cram it.

Dinner at my parents house a few weeks ago: My Mom: are there any names you like this time? Me: nothing that's really sticking with me right now! I don't think we're going to share when we do come up with her name bc we don't want anyone's opinions. My Mom: any names that *DH* likes? Me: he likes Sophia but I don't think she feels like a Sophia. My Gma: *tsk* if you name her Sophia people with call her Sophie. *makes a yuck face* Me: well, yea like I said we don't want opinions and that still could be her name so, thanks!

IDK 🙄 A nerdy name, I guess?? Well guess what, it's a product of two engineers! babydsmama we didn't share names either, which is why I immediately regretted mentioning our "top" boy name to SD after. It confirmed that I'd rather not have IRL opinions.

babydsmama it also avoided the "claiming" of names too. We had friends due 4 months after us who ended up naming their daughter a very similar name (ours Cora and theirs Coralee). Apparently she had always wanted to name her daughter that. I know if DH would have known their name choice, he would have said Cora was off the table. And I love our daughter's name.

Apparently she had always wanted to name her daughter that. I know if DH would have known their name choice, he would have said Cora was off the table. And I love our daughter's name. Our main reason for not sharing with DD1 is because I was legit worried that she could arrive and not look like whatever name we came up with, and then we would have to correct people forever. Then people started chiming in with this or that and I told H even if we come up with THE name beforehand we're not telling a soul! This time I've been much more straightforward with family saying we're not sharing bc we don't want your opinions swaying our decision if we fall in love with a name. 😂😂
