Last night I had a scratchy throat and a few glasses of wine. This morning I have a full blown cold and a hangover. I haven't had much to drink the past few months and now I remember why. I hope you feel better soon! |

DS randomly turned to us a few weeks ago and told us he knew we were Santa, the Tooth Fairy, etc. No one told him, but he’d been suspicious for a while. If he asked me I never lied, just said “What do you think?” He’s too smart for his own good sometimes.
But this has turned into some shenanigans. Last time he lost a tooth he looked me dead in the eye and said “I want more than a dollar this time, TOOTH FAIRY.” 😂 Little shit.

Didn't really want to do it. We could tell something had changed. We asked him what he thought about Santa and he kind of grinned and wouldn't answer. So I went for it. |

I forgot to do the tooth fairy couple of weeks ago. That afternoon my kid found $30 in the middle of the street and I told him that the truth fairy must have dropped it on the to our house 😅and that's why she didn't come.

My kid missed 3.5 days of school last week because of strep (and I missed 1.5 days of work). He was more or less fine all weekend, still tired but no fever and definitely getting better. Now he's at school complaining of a headache. Lord help me.

DD1 is getting surgery on Tuesday to remove her port. I am an anxious mess the last two weeks-plus she came down with a massive sinus infection on Tuesday. She is on antibiotics but now I am worried that they will postpone it. I feel like I am constantly hovering and I am trying not to. But the anxiety is real. How was R's surgery today? And how are you? Hopefully all is well 💜 |
