I was reading yesterday about cases of bacterial pneumonia being on the rise so now I'm paranoid about that. DH was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, which is thankfully highly treatable, but for the time being he's at higher risk of infections. I'm already dreading the holiday germ fest. Ugh, I’m sorry for your H’s diagnosis. I hope treatment goes well and he stays clear of any infections. |

Yes they can help, but I've been having to go in to work way later than usual since I can't really go in at 3am right now. If he didn't have school I'd just let DS sleep over at their house lol. Thankfully my boss and team have been really supportive and fine with me working partial shifts. |

goldenbird I’m so glad YH is getting treatment and they’re aware of how serious that could get! I hope he heals quickly and is able to come home safely soon!! 💕

DH and I went to a paint and sip tonight. It was run by a woman that does them at the campground we are at. She does them there during the summer and is trying to find places to do them during the off season.
It was really fun but DH went even more rouge than usual on the painting (we normally just change colors). They were owls. He makes his penguins. lol

Oh yikes. I hope they wear masks at the orthodontist office 😬 Omg! They were. Also we were there like 8 minutes. So fast. Maybe that's why his spacer already moved 🤔 Damn you must have an express lane there! |

Here's a random and possibly an UO:
JonBenet Ramsay's dad is on TV promoting a new Netflix doc. I think someone in the family is guilty and he knows the truth. This dog and pony show is a waste of resources and it's really pissing me off. It all seems like such a sham.

I pay a (BIG) fee for the whole process, expander to braces, but then we can go as often as needed for adjustments. Anyway I called them today and they said if they fell out on their own, they likely aren't needed. Meaning, he already has a enough space to fit the bands for the expander around his teeth. We go next week for that fitting so, if that's not the case, I guess they'll make any necessary adjustment then. They did not seem at all phased or concerned. |

Mine were squeezed tight in there. I still remember waking up in the middle of the night after clawing one out, thinking I had something stuck in my teeth (clearly forgetting about the damn spacers in my stupor). |

MH is home!!! On antibiotics for awhile and with strict instructions for diet and things to look out for. But he's home! DS is going to be so happy when I get him from school.

Last night I had a scratchy throat and a few glasses of wine. This morning I have a full blown cold and a hangover. I haven't had much to drink the past few months and now I remember why.
