6 miles for me today. I can already tell I’m going to struggle keeping my easy runs easy this winter. My face was so cold in the wind that I just kept speeding up so I could be done faster lol. I still haven’t figured out the whole keeping my face warm bit. Every other part of me is fine. Just my face is freezing. I hate having my mouth and nose covered though so I guess I just whine 🤣

I did my turkey trot outdoors today because it’s supposed to be pouring rain tomorrow AM. I will miss our tradition, but kinda jazzed to maybe sleep in a bit.

Hi.
30 minute interval run with JTR 10 minute chest and back with Adrian 5 minute stretch with Marcel M
Yoga tonight. I didn't do it last night because I forgot it was Tuesday where I spent a large portion of my night sitting on the floor of the community center.
I've developed a cough. It's making me cranky. I have zero other symptoms. My breathing was fine on my run. We have a stethoscope, so I'll keep a listen on myself for crackling.

Speed day today. 2 mile w/u, 6 x 800m at 5k pace, 2 mile c/d for a total of 8.5 miles. So. COLD. Along with the cold weather comes comically bad HR readings. I’ll just have to follow the pace targets and go by feel. Now I have to go do a bunch of prep for tomorrow so I’ll probably get like 10k more steps in tonight.

Got back to the gym today. Squats went unexpectedly well which was nice since I didn’t really do them last week and I was really just hoping to maintain. Cardio is majorly slacking right now.

I did 400m tempo repeats on the treadmill at the rec centre overlooking DS1’s hockey practice for about 4 miles, then quick core and arms.
I wasn’t the only one multitasking, there was another mom from the team there, and 2 of the dads 😂

I did a 10 minute warm up run with Susie then hopped into AT's live turkey burn run. The last third I was breathing a bit rough, so I'm going to shoot my doctor a message, but not enough to slow me down too much. I honestly feel fine minus the cough. If it weren't for the kids having had pneumonia I wouldn't even think anything of it. Whatever. I'm so happy to run!

I haven't been around but I have been moving. The dog refuses to go beyond certain points on our normal trail lately and it's killing me. absolutely killing me. I did a 20 min upper body strength 2 days ago and i am so sore, lol. trying to plan out the week for healthy eating and movement. cnf, I hope your dd is feeling better. and i absolutely am delighted that you went out to buy running gear for 3 miles. that's dedication!

10 minute warm up run with Becs 30 minute live classical run with Becs Extra 10 run with Hannah F 5 minute stretch with Camila
Two live runs in two days! I never workout live. It was Becs' first class back since her race so I was excited to jump in. I cannot believe her race concluded 9 days ago and that woman is already back to teaching running classes. I cannot fathom that level of fitness.
Today is the last day my folks are in town and we're doing an early dinner out to hibachi. Yum! I'll probably eat left over dessert today too. Then it's back to tightening up tomorrow.

So even though it’s been “snowing” all day, there isn’t as much here as inland, we are just too close to the lake 😅 (not complaining 1 bit) We should see some tomorrow, but no real accumulation. Parts of Erie and Watertown are supposed to have over 5 feet by tomorrow! I miss having 100+ inch seasons. The last two years we've barely got 50".

I actually did an intervals hiit run with wilpers yesterday. i completely had my butt handed to me, lol. it was great. tonight is run club. i am going to try to get out early so i can get in some extra miles.
B: egg with egg whites and cheese S: hummus and pretzel chips L: chicken cobb salad with ranch S: cheese and crackers D: IP ziti with garlic bread and broccoli
