So these contractions come and go pretty regularly as long as I am sitting down but when I get up to do something they space out much further..does that mean they are fake contractions after all and not the real deal???

I'm impatiently waiting. My AFI was 5.4 today, so waiting on a call back to see what we do. Otherwise I'm scheduled for induction 9/6 - which may kill me 😂

Just finished newborn photos. R pooped/peed on the photographer twice and once on a blanket. She was only asleep the first half, so her eyes are open and she's unposed the second half. I'm ok with the eyes open, because I was disappointed that all of T's pictures have her sleeping. T was a little bit of a terror, but I think the ones with the both of them are going to be gorgeous. I'm looking forward to getting the birth announcements and sending them out. I bought a bunch of cool stamps to use (I have a thing for stamps).

@starzia, congrats girl! 8/20 was quite a day for 8/17 and yes I was the one who had no idea about a name! But I think addymac was struggling too. I am going to try to post my birth story tonight. This kid has been cluster feeding the past two days and my milk still hasn't filully come in so it's been a struggle! Hope things are well with you and your LO!

I totally understand the feeling.. my low AFI came as a big surprise as well. I had had a few of instances where I thought I may have leaked some drops but decided that it likely just had been me peeing myself somehow. The low AFI came up as a surprise and while they were checking for something completely different. My AFI didn't change much over the course of 2-3 weeks so even if I had leaked any I wasn't leaking any more. And then suddenly it went up some again? Totally weird! Keep an eye on babies movements and call if you're feeling uncomfortable or anxious even if tis not Thu/Fri yet

Okay so this may be the real deal.. my cramps have gone up in intensity all afternoon/early evening and I believe they're actual contractions. Been trying to time them using Full Term app and it says average frequency this past hour was 6 minutes .. they're also starting to be actually painful so it may be time to call soon? I'm just so worried that somehow Murphy's Labor Law will hit me and once I call and get on our way to the hospital they'll fizz out?? Or that we get send back home or something.. which would suck, too! And secretly I had hoped to get ONE more night of normallish sleep for the both of us LOL

Eek! muscari I hope it's the real thing! It doesn't hurt to go get monitored, and if you're about to be induced anyway, they just may keep you even if you aren't very far progressed.

pepperpottsj ah I'm sorry they decided not to induce you today. It's so bizarre how or where the fluid goes. That's why I was induced on Saturday- the ultrasound showed my fluid at 4, so they were like yep. Go time. And I was like but where is the fluid going if you just told me my water is not broken?????

@starzia both cali and I were struggling. We picked a name today! We had to bc we were being discharged 😂 No, we had sort of picked yesterday but wanted to "sleep on it" (🤣 DHs words, clearly) before writing it on the birth certificate.

I swear I'll post my birth story soon. Lately the phone just makes me sleepy so I try and then five min in I conk out. Also, so little sleep omg.

Well I guess I'll be surprising a lot of people at work tomorrow because it looks like I'm going in. I've had multiple e-mails this week wishing me good luck.
Also my feet are gigantic today. I'm hoping it's from the heat and humidity which is supposed to be much lower tomorrow.

In the middle of things- didnt manage to update sooner as contractions picked up like whoa in no time. Got my epi just a lil while ago and they broke my waters and started the pitocen. Gonne try nap for a bit! Will update once I can..
