You should know that this headline is based on an memo emailed to dems written by two other random democrats.

SO. If I wrote a memo saying we should elect a president via danceoff, and emailed it to the white house, I suppose I could write a headline saying "DEM DONOR AND WHITE HOUSE COMMUNICATING ABOUT POSSIBLE POTUS DANCEOFF" and I guess it would be technically true.

I’m trying really hard to stay optimistic, but it’s hard to see how the Ds aren’t going to hand the election to Trump through all this idiotic handwringing. They’re acting like we didn’t just have a primary process, or like it was years ago and not earlier this year. Biden being old is not brand new information.

The NYT had an article about the rise in Chinese and Russian bots advancing the narrative that Biden is too old. Another journalist friend of mine with a reliable source said they’ve tracked a 200% increase over multiple platforms of Chinese, Russian, and Iranian bot accounts elevating the message of having him pull out of the race. The Ds are playing right into their hands.

I honestly don’t know if Biden is the right person to beat him; I’m not excited about him. But there literally is not a viable alternative at *this* stage of the game.

This is what is frustrating me so much, they're being influenced by bots and I (I guess mistakenly) thought they knew better than to be taken in.

At the grocery store yesterday, I overheard one employee telling another employee about Proj.ect 2025. I listened for a minute, because I am in a liberal city in Missouri, so her response could have gone either way. But I was so relieved when she complimented AOC and thanked him for explaining Pro.ject 2025 and she and I chatted about how terrifying it is. She said she hadn’t heard of it before, and she was glad he brought it up. She said she was happy for her IUD but she was still scared.

So even in the middle of the country, at least the word is getting out. Dems need to push this and inform people who aren’t paying close attention.

Voters want to see that you know what you’re talking about and not about to lead the party into a path of self-destruction 120 days before Election Day.

My company's headquartered in Canada and my teenagers keep telling me they're totally okay with us moving to Winnipeg if Tr.ump wins. angelashly, they also first learned about Pro.ject 2025 on TikTok a few months ago and asked me about it. And they said their friends are talking about it too. The one consistent thing I've heard from my kids/their friends is that the boomers need to step aside and let younger people take over, and that they're looking forward to when they are old enough to vote. Hopefully this passion continues as they age!

Not sure how 2.2 million people lost power in a cat 1 storm. That’s a lot more than was predicted. The infrastructure is so bad.

I just spent the weekend in Colombia and had a good talk with one of my aunts and uncles and they are convinced ed that Tr.ump is going to win (which they are so pissed about) but also that Biden needs to step down. It was a good convo but I was still surprised that the “Biden needs to step down” theme has made its way everywhere.
