I'm sitting at the ER. I woke up with pretty bad groin/leg pain and now my whole leg is swollen. I had my rhogam appointment today, so I talked to the ob who was in maternity, and she wasn't concerned, but I am. Oh, no! I hope you get some answers soon!

I'm just waiting for a bed to be ready, but the nurse already ordered an u/s for my leg. I'm on blood thinners and just had my platelets checked about a month ago, so in theory, it shouldn't be a blood clot, but I'm worried that's what it is.

2 pieces of open-faced toast topped with tomato, onion, over-easy eggs, and a generous amount of salt and pepper with a side of pancakes is my new favorite thing. The sweet and savory flavors come together like a symphony. I am in so much trouble.

Congrats, snuff9861! I hope you get some answers soon, bethkate. I got DS to school on time -ish and got to work on time! He went into his classroom no problem after having what felt like a three hour long conversation with the woman who sits at the front desk. I am very thankful for my verbally advanced 2.5yo, but man, he doesn't stop talking. Like we have to have a conversation about EVERYTHING. "What is that" That's the computer where I sign you in. "OK sign me in." I already signed you in. "Oh ok. Look mama, the playground. We go out there later and play. What is that?" A lock box. "You put papers in that box!" Yesterday, his teacher asked me if he was always so talkative. I said YES. He does not stop.

grumpycat, at 3.5 we have definitely hit the "never stops talking" phase. She has memorized some of the Paw Patrol toy Youtube videos she watches, and plays with her toys while reciting them. I am glad she is so well spoken now, but geez.

But she will still talk about everything with you. Cute...but gets old fast. Lol

Oh no @ bethkate... I'm hoping it's not a blood clot. What blood thinner are you on? Are you having pain in your calf? Redness or warmth? An ultrasound should give you answers quickly.

So, it's a clot. I'm not sure where exactly, but it's up near my groin that's sore. I'm on lovenox, but it seems like the plan now is to admit me and get me on higher doses of anticoagulants.

I'm so glad you listened to your guy on this one and went right in. Blood clots are no joke. I hope they can deal with it quickly and you can bounce right back.

We have so much zucchini growing in our garden so I've made tons of different recipes with them the last couple days. This one is by far my favorite. Blueberry zucchini cake with vanilla frosting. Yum Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

bazi it's actually not overtly sweet like I thought it would be. It doesnt taste like zucchini bread at all really. Just yummy cake with a hint of zucchini. The blueberries really make it.

TMI below...you've been warned.
I now have my third yeast infection in two months. I've never had one in my life...and three in like 9 weeks. W...T...F. I am wearing cotton underwear, no feminine hygiene products, changing out of sweaty/wet clothes right away. I haven't had sex at all. Whyyyyy is this happening?
Ugh, pregnancy.

I'm really glad you listened to your gut and went in! Pregnancy can increase chances for blood clots, so I wonder if the dosage would normally be fine but isn't enough while pregnant?

I'm glad you went in too bethkate! I hope they are able to sort it out quickly. quinn, that looks amazing! Nice work I have strangely never really had luck growing zucchinis. I'm taking this year off from gardening though, so maybe I will try again next year. bazi, I'm sorry, that sucks! I don't think I've ever had one, but I can imagine the discomfort.
