Just woke up from a nap.
H is day off today so we had a nice morning, he's done a couple house jobs I needed him to do.
I need to go drink a pint of water as haven't drank enough today.
Oh I sat down and done a proper list of things that we have left to get for DD - storage unit (like a small plastic thing to have in our bedroom for the first couple months for middle of the night feeds/clothes/nappies - pram, ordering this week - Moses basket mattress, will get in a couple weeks so we can air it out for a while - changing bag, will probably order next week sometime.
Went through her clothes again and saw that I need some more newborn sleep suits, and 3-6 months sleep suits & vests. So that's fun to shop for

I got up pretty early this morning, but then I lounged around for a bit which I'm regretting now. I'm sitting at the mechanic waiting to get a state inspection sticker for my car, and since I procrastinated and it's the last day of the month, I'm 4th in line and have over an hour wait. I should've just gotten here right at 8 when they opened. Once I leave here, I'm headed to to hardware store to get two more paint samples. Fingers crossed we can maybe paint the baby's room next weekend.

Pregsomnia got the best of me last night, I'm dragging this morning at work. And DS tried so hard not to cry at daycare but he lost it, and then I started getting teary-eyed.
In other news we are crazy and decided to list our house and hopefully buy a new one before this LO comes. It's a sellers market which should bode well for us selling but it means our money won't get us far for a new house. It gets listed in about week so fingers crossed!!

I went for a run this morning then had my 24 week check up. DD is playing and watching Bubble Guppies while a meal plan, so now it's time for us to head out and do a bit of shopping. Nothing too exciting here.

beefinch, seeing how little you have left to do makes me feel like a slacker! I'm feeling really unprepared but in reality I kept just about everything from DD, so I just need a few small things.

When we found she was a girl I just literally ordered loads of clothes in the first week or so. Clothes were the main things, as we don't have a nursery to do! If we had a nursery to decorate and do I would be feeling a lot more stressed as that wouldn't have been done yet lol. She just has a wardrobe in DS's (their room) of her clothes. I'm just a very organised person when it comes to things like this as I like it to be done by 30 weeks, so then all I have to do is the hospital bag and then I can just chill!

Hi I'm here. Also tired. Heartburn is killing me. I've been taking a Tums chaser after my Zantac doesn't kick in after 30 minutes. I'm gonna have to bring it up at the OB's at my next appointment. Catching up on work emails and it doesn't seem like there were any major fires while I was on vacation, but I'm sure I'll find out more when I go into the office tomorrow!

Clothes is the main thing here too, I need to go through DD1's clothes to see what will fit (born in different season). And figure out how to set up their room, especially their closet. Feel free to send me some of your organizational skills

We are trying to finish the garage today but it's so fucking hot out. I just wanna lay in the pool.
H is out buying us subs and I'm sitting in the a.c. watching ds3 make a mess (ie "eating") crackers.

Can I AW what I did this weekend for DD's room? I love how it turned out! The decals had trouble sticking at first but mostly they are stuck on. I might need to replace a couple. I also built this reading nook and she loves it.

I messaged my OB to ask for something stronger, too. The heartburn is so bad.

Those with bad heartburn. Ask your doc for Lansoprazole. It's generic prescription strength Prevacid. I took it last pregnancy too.
One pill a day with a meal and heartburn is completely gone. I can eat anything now. Seriously.

Okay I think I am going to find a specific newborn photographer for those pics but H is going to ask his friend to do some family pics in a couple weeks.

My kid seems to be going through an enormous anxiety separation thing right now. She can be basically asleep but if she realizes you're leaving the room it's all hell breaks loose. Same with going to see grandparents. She was so excited to go see my folks this morning but as soon as she realized I was leaving without her she panicked and melted down, which she's been doing every time for the last few weeks. Same if either H or I leave. Please tell me this stops soon? She was practically asleep 20 minutes ago so I left her room with her all snuggled into her bed. She's been wailing and stomping on it now for those 20 minutes with no end in sight. It's seriously killing me and cost H and I sitting up in stages with her from 3:30am until 5:30am the other night. I'm so over it.

I hope it's just a phase cnf. DD has separation anxiety as well at almost 3 so I'm no help :/ it's more when myself or H leave. We just had our last vacation before baby comes. Can't believe these babies will be here soon enough!

Love it thatgolfb! Where did you get the decals from? Are your walls textured? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Amazon! It was like 10 bucks for 200 decals, on Prime so no shipping cost. The walls don't seem to be especially textured. The paint had been done before we moved in in December so it wasn't brand new. I do think I should have scrubbed the wall, I had to replace some decals because of dust. 😬 www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01N0OCZ2U/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
