I feel like that outfit or backdrop was used recently in another photo op?
Maybe they cut their budget for their PR team to increase their hair/makeup budget for her.
I assumed once I heard she’d be at the trooping that she’ll be in a big wide rimmed hat and standing in the back behind allllll the kids and any other grown ups they could find so she’s there and sort of hidden. Or it’s a body double so they can’t tell it’s a double.

I would wear the shit out of that dress. Invite me to polo matches, high tea, garden parties, whatever. She looks very crisp and polished.
I also have a soft spot for sailor dresses on little girls. Like, there are pictures of me, my sister, and all of our cousins wearing them at various points in our childhood. I bought one for my nieces at a little Italian clothing store when the oldest was a toddler and my sister used it for both. I frigging love those pics.

Her face looks drawn and her eyes are tired, she's probably got a port under that dress, and she likely had a glam squad do her hair and makeup to look her best. I know I'm not royal but the idea of wearing mainly white while it looks rainy/dirty where she's walking gives me such anxiety. But again, I know if it gets all mucked up, she can just throw it away even if it was $$ $.

I am so glad to see Kate out and about. She looks happy to be there and it's nice to see her smile. Charlotte looks absolutely adorable and the kids look happy, with Louis his typical mischievous self, which is wonderful to see.  Their attire is perfection. The nod, even if unintentional to Eliza Doolittle, the sailor dress for Charlotte, the complimentary outfits for the boys. What's not to love?  |

So are people pissed she looks good or what's being said on the conspiracy end I have mostly seen it fuel the "she doesn't really have cancer" stuff and that it was an excuse to cover her time away for various other reasons. I have always been clear that I don't need specifics of her illness, but that the way it has been handled from a PR perspective was bad. If she is looking this "normal" they could really have shut some of the worst rumors down at any point and instead just get making things worse at every opportunity. She is a publicly funded figure, so I feel she has more obligation to be transparent than a celebrity who disappears for 6 months. I am still on the train of thought that she had surgery for something and pre-cancerous cells were found in her pathophysiology labs after the fact. I think she has no desire to be working in public anyway and this was seemed like a good get out of jail free card for her. I don't think it accomplished what they hoped it would. |

I love the new pictures. I wish the kids wore some other color besides blue. Is there a reason they are almost always in blue? The picture of William, he is in blue as well. |
