Holy shit, Hellen Obiri with an epic win! The lead women were running sub-5 minute miles after mile 20. INSANE.

My back was still a little bit angry so I took rest days Friday-Sunday and I realized I had not taken an actual rest day in three weeks so I was probably due anyway. I did do a lot of cleaning on Friday and lots of trips up and down the stairs for laundry so I wasn't a total sloth.
I got back at it today and restarted W3 of RK's 5-day split.
- 30 min Chest & Triceps (I was happy that I was able to do all 4 sets of chest presses with 20 lb dumbbells after doing the final set with 20s last week) - 10 min Upper Body Stretch with Andy

Friday was wild - I was in charge of the Jog A Thon at the school, which thankfully ended by about noon, so I came home and put my feet up, went for a short walk, and then hosted the whole soccer team and their families for a end of year party. I walked something like 11.5 miles, with only one of them being intentional. Saturday was a chill rainy day, we only did a short walk, and mostly rested. Sunday, after the morning rain, we went on a longer walk in the afternoon, and I did a 20 minute full body strength. Today, I got up and did a 20 minute hamstring-focus yoga, which was much needed. I will walk with DS later today, and mop my whole house as well.

Looks like Wilpers just finished Boston– 3:01:22! Haha I was tracking him! Pretty strong race, dude! I didn't realize Jeffrey McEachern also ran, I haven't looked up his time. ETA: he finished at 3:34

Hi! I finished the HCOTF "triple crown" of Adrian's G/L program, Tunde's arms, and Emma's crush your core 2 last week. I'm definitely ready to switch things up again but not sure to what, so I'm just doing the HCOTF calendar for now. 20 min G/L with Rebecca, 10 min G/L with Rad, 10 min core with Rebecca, and a 40 min walk at DS's baseball practice.
B - yogurt bowl with berries and some wheat Chex L - leftover grilled chicken, corn, and salad from last night D - marinated turkey cutlet, sweet potato, veggies S - probably some pretzels and chocolate hummus

I was able to get in a 3 mile walk with the run club. My quads were super sore from that 10k.
Today I am trying to fit in a 45 min threshold run. Dude, some of the intervals are at a fast pace (fast to me) and for like 5 to 6 mins. I am dreading it but excited to see what I can do at the same time. lol.

Yesterday was two short walks at work and a 10 min upper body strength after I got home
This AM I did a 30 minute outdoor walk + run
Second week my watch has tried to lower my activity level goals, so it’s time to get back on top of things.

Split workout day:
Morning:
- 30 min Legs + Core with RK - 10 min Full Body Stretch with RK - it’s her most recent one and I bookmarked it as it’s all standing, which I prefer. I’m also trying to be mindful of doing more full body stretches to stretch not only what I’ve just worked but from a prior day and you always use upper on lower body days and vice versa. This one also has great neck and upper back stretches which were super helpful for desk-bound me.
Lunchtime:
- W6/D2 35 min of None 2 Run (2.3 miles) - 5 min Post-Run Stretch with Joslyn

Hi.
I haven't checked in in a few days.
Saturday night I only got 3 hours of sleep (same as Friday night, yay). I was dragging. We were leaving at 6am to head to Albany for the day and I had planned to get in 30-40 minutes at my usual 4am before we left, but that didn't happen. I did a 15 minute flow and a 10 minute core flow after we got home.
Yesterday I chose sleep because of how little I got all weekend. I only managed a 20 minute run after school then a 10 minute core flow and a 10 minute floor poses yoga before bed.
Today I got up at 4am and was all set to head downstairs and workout when DS came tearing into our room melting down. He refused help from H and kept telling me he didn't want to run and to put my jammies back on. So, I put my pajamas back on and got into bed with him. Not only did I miss my workout but I also way overslept and was late getting up and leaving. Did a 30 minute interval run, a 5 minute core, and a 5 minute stretch after school. Yoga tonight.
God I hope I get a ride in tomorrow morning. Ugh, what a shit show of workout mishaps.

Indoor cycle again today bleh. My tri training app is supposed to sync to my watch and it finally started (after I updated my watch lol) but the workout today was wonky and I only kind of did it right. Oh well.
Was supposed to do weights during DS’ swim time but he had a huge meltdown so I stayed in the pool area to watch him instead. Back to cold weather tomorrow.

Hi. I haven’t checked in in a few days. I took the weekend off because Friday was a really tough day at OTF. And because I just needed to sleep in a bit.
Back at it Monday morning, and it was a solid power day. Took today off. Back at it tomorrow!
I decided to start subscribing to Lillie’s meal plan service. It was relatively inexpensive and while I like cooking and don’t mind shopping, I needed a mental break from deciding what my family will eat for the week lol. So far so good! It’s recipes I have made before but that made it even easier.

Woof to the sleep stuff, cnf! I hope tonight is much, much better! It was! I slept great and felt fine at 4am when my alarm went off. Totally could have worked out. But I woke up with excruciating tooth pain, so I sat downstairs in the dark eating ibuprofen and holding a cup of hot coffee to my face instead. I've been boogery and yesterday I had some sinus pressure, so I'm sure it's my sinuses, which gives me tooth pain when they're angry. But this was probably the most pain I've ever had from them, so who knows. I'm all medicated and muscling through state testing today and will ride after school if I still feel decent enough. This whole week has been a fucking waste, both at work and with shit at home, workouts included. Just, ugh.

The training plan called for 4 miles last night, but trails be trailin' and there was a group of mountain bikers that let the run group know that they were going out on at least part of the 4 four mile loop, so we ended up doing the next shortest of the trail loops. It's also the hardest one (very root-y, and lots of steep inclines and declines). I ended up with 6 miles (the loop and connector were a little less, so I went back out a bit to get up to that).
Slept pretty badly last night, but managed to force myself up to get a couple of miles early since we've got a bit of a heatwave this week.

thatgolfb, I may need to look into Lillie's meal plan, too. I get tired of trying to figure out what to make and when I get really frustrated with it, I tend to eat out which isn't great for my macros.

30 minute full body with Selena. I was bummed because she said she programmed it like they program floor boot camps, and I was not in for any cardio this morning, but I did it anyway. Walking the dog in a bit, too.

I did a 30 min hike on the tread with Camila this morning. Slowly easing back in. If I’m still feeling good by the weekend, I’m going to go to my run clinic on Sat AM, will take it easy and (at the most) jog slowly

So it's absolutely, without a doubt my damn sinuses. Ugh. So stupid. But more manageable than a tooth problem, so I'll take it.
5 minute warm up ride with Kendall 30 minute techno ride with Charlotte 5 minute core with Emma 5 minute stretch with Emma
I had another strength lined up, but I ran out of time.
I skipped yoga last night because we were up late. I'll miss it tonight because I'm going to a speaker on gifted and talented students since DD1 is in a G&T program. Except the talk is 7-8:30 and it's at a school on the opposite side of the side of city, a good 45 minutes away. So that's FUN. But it's important I go. Her school is one of five in the county with a G&T program and her teacher reached out about it, so off I'll be.

Good evening!
30 min bike bootcamp with Callie, 15 min Pilates with Aditi, 5 min core with Emma. 40ish minute walk while DS was warming up at the ballfield for his game.
B - Greek yogurt bowl L - leftover Skinnytaste pad Thai D - turkey club + baked chips and raw veggies after we got home from DS's game at 7:30. I'm thinking dinner after all weeknight baseball games will be various sandwiches. S - undecided, maybe PB on a toasted low carb wrap

I somehow managed to fit 5 miles on the tread this morning between the kids' bus/wake up times. I was really hoping to go to CF for deadlift day, but H is OOT so that wasn't an option. I may go in this evening if I feel like it. (spoiler alert: I will not feel like it). 5 min warm up run w/ Alex 30 min Aerosmith run w/ RK 20 min rock run w/ Mariana 5 min post-run stretch w/ Olivia Eating is going really good! I've been tracking everything and hitting my calorie and protein goals pretty consistently. I'm down 6 pounds total, which included a week of Spring Break vacationing, so I'm pretty happy.
