This is why nobody wants to host anymore. It’s a lose lose situation. I think she didn’t laugh because it just wasn’t funny. Not necessarily because it was about her. I adore Jo but barely laughed at anything last night. Same. |

I really doubt the whole Selena asked for a pic thing is true. I mean, maybe but It just seems unlikely to me. Seems like a weird rumor somewhat based on his now affiliation with the Jenners/Biebers and people still love Selena/Justin gossip.

I didn't watch the show but saw the other clips of the Barbie roasts and those were far worse and stupid IMO than the Taylor one. The Taylor one was a stupid but harmless jab and the Barbie shit was further proving literally everything that the movie is trying to show about why this existence is exhausting for people who identify as a woman.

There is beef there but I think the Swifties again are taking up the whole thing and making it something it isn’t and to make it the woman said no when it could very well have been him saying no. Apparently sources for Selena said she never even talked to them |

I didnt watch but the only clips I've seen are Selena whispering to Taylor, Taylor's joke, and Kylie and her bf stroking each other's faces. I continue to be surprised at Kylies face without the kardashian filter! It's not good and it's sad cuz she's so young

Back when artists didn't use chatbots to write their songs, the band fronted by the foreign born permanent A- lister brought out one, which remains a cult classic. You probably know it, or at least know that it inspired the name of a popular US band. The story at the time was that it was about the idiocy of DJs at the public broadcaster in the band's home country. The lyrics leave you in no doubt as to how the band felt, about these DJs. There has been a lot of speculation recently, that it was written specifically about the most notorious DJ the broadcaster employed.
It was. During an appearance by the band on a show the serial pedophile was presenting, the A- lister saw him walking into his dressing room with a very underage girl. He feared the worst and this was confirmed when he could hear the girl screaming at him to get off her. Like so many before him, he reported the matter to the show's producer and his claims were laughed off. He was so furious that he wrote the song right there in the studio with his guitarist. The original lyrics were way more explicit about the subject, but the band wanted to hear the public broadcaster play it with no idea as to what the song was really about.

I mean I’m fully team Selena because I really like her as an actress but that seems insane to me given their respective levels of fame. I feel like Selena has a slightly broader level of fans. Like she spans many years of fans between acting (Hotel Transylvania, Only Murders, Wizards of Waverly, etc), the cooking show, and the music. Like my MIL "likes" her on Facebook because of the cooking show. Oh, and she has the make up line. |

I literally replied post that said they do show her too much. I replied saying that them showing her so much is in the NFL, not Taylor. It wasn’t an attack, but it’s also a played out & cheap joke at this point. Again, it’s dumb because none of that is on Taylor for simply going to a football game & the NFL having no chill & having a camera basically fixated in her. Bill Murray, Beyoncé & Jay, Tom Hanks, etc. are constantly court side at NBA games & it’s not news every single time. But it’s a joke just like him saying Meghan and Harry got paid millions for doing nothing that’s said at most shows, even Margot and Greta faked smiled during the Barbie joke because again award show roasting is a thing. I forgot no jokes about Taylor ever. Women should not have to fake smile to make a man feel good about his stupid joke. Fuck that. He sucked all around. |

I keep typing and deleting because there is no point
No where am I saying someone has to fake a smile for a man. I’m not going to defend myself more than that because if that is truly the take you get from me as a poster I don’t know what else to say.
And trust I will never talk Taylor in this thread again but faking the smile etc has been discussed before during award season and it didn’t go this way
