T swizzle needs to get a sense of humor. To be fair, the monologue was terrible. They really need Ricky back! His comments about Barbie were literally missing the entire point of the movie. |

Also Ricky gervais is a pick me tryhard who probably would have made a more vulgar joke at swifts expense. I'm glad he wasn't there.

Award show monologues are known roasting time, especially with current events and those who are in attendance so I’m not surprised something was said. I’m also not surprised she didn’t like it nor did her fans.
That being said I seriously wonder who wrote the stuff first considering he was a stand in and I’ve seen some of his comedy because h has watched and some of the jokes didn’t fit his usual style

H and I have been watching Big Brother (for the first time!). We’re on season 15 now and WOOF! Aaryn is a piece of shit. I know I’m like 10 years too late but man, I don’t know why production didn’t kick her out. Yeah she was real bad. I have rewatched a couple old seasons lately, like pre-season 10, and honestly I'm more "wtf" about all the shit people said on the old seasons even compared to Aaryn. The shit they said simply because it was the early 00's was just....wow. And the stuff the men got away with around the women back then (paging Howie from Season 6, for gods sake, woof). It seems Aaryn was cast right at the tipping point of when tv companies finally realized they needed to do something about having shit people say whatever they want on a constantly streaming camera, lol. |

It was an observational humor bit, like you do at awards shows. And this one wasn't punching down which the predecessor would do. Again I didn't watch and see all over the place that it was a disaster. I find jo koy a funny comedian but not necessarily a fit for a stuffy awards show. |

My guess is of all the things to roast or talk about her, they picked her connection to her boyfriend. I don’t think it was as terrible as her fans as making it, but can see her not being impressed with the easy shot of talking about her dating life. It isn’t original. I’m sure Ricky would have been much harsher but I bet I would have laughed. I don’t know, I think he’s funny and I loved his previous GG monologue. I think Jo Koy is funnier than last night and don’t think he wrote much of the material. I think Taylor’s joke is getting the most attention but like I mentioned above, the Barbie one was worse IMO. |

Well the real winner of the night for me was Barry. I loved Saltburn and thought he looked 🔥. I knew he wouldn’t win but hoping he gets an Oscar nom so we see him more.

His monologue was awful and mostly cringy because it just....wasn't funny. Every laugh he got was so forced. I felt bad for him. I think they need to just stop trying to be funny at awards shows. It really doesn't ever work.
