I’m not generally a celebrity memoir person. I think this is why. The secondhand embarrassment is killing me. I am dying. Very interesting direction for the brand… Although I guess you have to justify the $20 million? But could have left out the spanking and no one would know. Except for the equine enthusiast. Twitter is trying to tell me that Harry also writes in his book that he and Willy are both circumcised. And at this point I cannot discern Twitter bullshit from actual book passages. If this is truly in the book, I’m concluding that the ghost writer seriously had a field day writing it. Harry “put in that we’re both circumcised.” Ghostwriter: “Harry, I don’t think anyone needs to….” Harry “PUT IT IN!!!” Lol I had no intention to read this book but I might have to now just to laugh again down the road envisioning this scene |

I can’t wait for whatever this season is on The Crown. Sadly, I think they are going to be done after next season (the sixth), which will have Diana's death and maybe get up to Will and Kate's wedding (as Kate has been cast). But with all of this (waves hands) out there, the showrunners may keep that gravy train going. |

If The Crown can have a scene of them all reacting to the tampon tape, they should have one of them all reacting to reading about the circumcision.

Ok ok ok with Harry’s book blowing up did we miss this?? The Swedes are also having a moment. King Carl XVI Gustaf has controversially claimed that his son should be heir, not Crown Princess Victoria. He says it's unfair that Carl Philip was stripped of the Crown Prince title when he was seven-months-old. Oh boo hoo. Instead of being sexist, he should be proud that his country was the first modern European monarchy to ditch sexist inheritance procedures. And he was a freaking infant for goodness sake! He never knew any different. Why punish your daughter by saying these things now, 40 years later? Good grief. |

So are you saying no crying happened at all? Because I can be down with not believing either over automatically believing one or the other I have no idea, I wasn't there. I don't trust any of their accounts bc I think they're all lying to make themselves look better and bc they're pissed, which is what humans do. eta I can fully believe as an assumption that Kate was a bitch or Meghan was a snatch, or the husbands are twisting something that wasn't a big deal bc they're mad at each other. I would bet both women were wrong, and both dudes should shut up, bc that's generally how it goes. Weddings and funerals bring out the worst in people. Even I, a fairly chill bride, told my mother to "stop fucking moving my dress!" from my old bedroom to hers (I got ready at her house). Team Everyone Was On Edge. |

Royals have dysfunctional families, just like us! I hate her so much as you know. He also says he killed 25 people in Afghanistan and he saw a psychic to try to contact his mother and the psychic predictably gave him messages from Diana. Yeeesh to the first part. PDQ someone very close to me lived that experience as well and I will never ever want specifics. Reading a head count like that caught me super off guard just now. |

Another excerpt says that Will was upset when he and Meghan met because she didn’t curtsy to him. Harry didn’t tell her to because he thought it would be unnecessary for a casual meeting with his brother.
Even from a strict protocol sense, I don’t think Americans (and other non Commonwealth citizens) are required to bow or curtsy.
