Anyone go to a college that had this promotion from Gumby's pizza? Pokey stix were the bomb...cheesey and with ranch or marinara for dipping...esp while watching Center Stage and avoiding studying/homework. ETA: Or I should add, live near a Gumby's...I only associate Gumby's with college/campus life for some reason. ETA 2: Here's some pics! |

Sadly there were no pokey sticks happening here on this Tuesday, but it was still a good day. DS had a nice time at school and I am finally feeling more settled in the new place. However, the nursery still needs a lot of work. DH is in the USA for the next 8 days, so I think I'll organize all of DS' old baby clothes this week and let DH move around the boxes/heavier stuff when he gets back  Also, I caught a sideways glimpse of myself in the mirror today, and I feel like I look 9 months pregnant. Like, I look similar to how I was with DS at 37 weeks (I'm only 27w5d). How the heck did that happen? |

I don't know what Pokey stix are but I want some.
I have to take my car in for its state inspection today. This is even less desirable than going for my glucose test on Thursday. I'm expecting 2.5 hours just sitting there, watching Judge Judy because the dealership is ALWAYS behind. Maybe they'll impress me today.
The last time I had to take our other car in was late February and I had MS so bad, I was snotty and almost puked all over the guy at the counter.

cythe They are so delicious. I was thinking of posting a pic of them, but then I didn't want to tempt a bunch of pregnant ladies with unhealthy food first thing in the morning. If I knew how to spoiler, I would spoiler a pic for you!

Can someone remind me when approximately does bubs begin to breakout swaddles?! Trying to decide if or how many flannel swaddles I need to make esp. for when we go back to IL for Xmas. Are they out of swaddles by then? Can they be in sleep blankets? Hubs and I for the life of us are drawing a blank. IL only have a fireplace in the living room...y'all be hearing all about that come Xmas....also no washer and dryer...fun!.

Shopping for fabric online sucks too. My eyes are twisted. Also Im having a really hard time finding flannel over 48" width. Meh! I wish I could pop by a fabric store but afraid I'd lose track of time and be on my feet toooo long. Anyone online fabric shop around here? Also looking at my timeline and I feel like I'm running out of time already! Are we really this close to bubs joining us?

Never had pokey sticks or Gumby pizza since I'm Canadian. KFC did have it's toonie (nickname for a $2 coin here) Tuesday deal back in the day. Fries and chicken for $2.
Still battling this sinus cold... I've been either pregnant or breastfeeding for the past 3 years, I can't wait to have the good drugs for my sinus colds. I'm trying to gather up my energy to do some light cleaning and organization.

Chicken and cheese bread.
I'm starving. Currently staring at the vending machines at the dealership debating between Honey Buns or frosted mini donuts, both of which pale in comparison to chicken and cheese bread.

Y'all are killing me with the food talk. I brought a measly sandwich for lunch.
I really just want to spend all of my time shopping all things baby as opposed to working. It doesn't help that it's a rainy day here, so my motivation is nonexistent.

Taking DD to the library this morning and to visit DH at work. Tonight she has a sleepover at my parents house and DH and I are going to a dinner theatre with the ILs (it's their anniversary present to us).

I am not familiar with Gumby's but now I want some. I just ordered sushi, but I regret my decision and want cheesy bread.
When I think of college food I think of DP Dough. And this other place that had waffle fries that were tossed in buffalo sauce and then drizzled with cheese sauce and blue cheese dressing. The orders were huge and were like $5.

I was responsible and ate leftover chicken for lunch. Once DS is asleep for nap though I'm going to shower and then eat a piece of his birthday cake because it sounds delicious.

I have a regular OB appt this afternoon. I am equal parts looking forward to hearing the heartbeat and dreading stepping on the scale. I'm pretty sure I am at, or above, where I was when I delivered DS.  |

I intended to spend the morning working in my classroom but all the teachers are starting to come back so most of us just spent time wandering from classroom to classroom talking and asking about summer trips. H and I are headed to the movies later today - I think we've seen a movie everyday since DD went up to my parents!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk This is the saddest thing I've read all day. 😥 I had ribs and fries for dinner. Sinus cold makes it hard to enjoy much food. DD was so cute doing her happy dance in her chair and exclaimed "I love ribs!". Our photographer posted a pic from our session on Saturday DD looks so cute in it. I can't wait to see the rest! If they look good too then I'll definitely be using her for our newborn pics. |
