I'm sure everybody but me probably already knows but just in case....
Oxiclean (I used the powder form) was the best/easiest way to get all of the old yellow stains out of the baby clothes. I know I washed DDs clothes before storing them but google tells me milk protein stains can cause stains to turn yellow when clothes are in storage despite washings.
Sooooo... if anyone else finds themselves with old baby clothes or hand-me-downs with yellow stains, I let the clothes soak like 8-10 hours (no joke) in the washer with oxiclean, did a normal wash cycle and --- they are all clean and stain free! I know it's probably a little early to wash baby clothes but I was trying to see if I could salvage some things before resorting to buy more. Anyway, just thought I'd pass that along in case anyone finds themselves in a similar spot.

Anyone go to a college that had this promotion from Gumby's pizza? Pokey stix were the bomb...cheesey and with ranch or marinara for dipping...esp while watching Center Stage and avoiding studying/homework. ETA: Or I should add, live near a Gumby's...I only associate Gumby's with college/campus life for some reason. ETA 2: Here's some pics! Did we go to the same college? I don't know where you are from pre continental move. Big Ten? Wait! I just searched them and Gumbys is no longer open in my college town 😥 |

Never had pokey sticks or Gumby pizza since I'm Canadian. KFC did have it's toonie (nickname for a $2 coin here) Tuesday deal back in the day. Fries and chicken for $2. Still battling this sinus cold... I've been either pregnant or breastfeeding for the past 3 years, I can't wait to have the good drugs for my sinus colds. I'm trying to gather up my energy to do some light cleaning and organization. I'm sorry you are still sick. When you are pg it's the worst bc you can't take anything and it takes longer to get over stuff. Speaking of... DS1 has strep. Of course my throat hurts now. Not sure if it's real or in my head. Last time I had strep was in college (probably from tainted pokey sticks Taitai) and I still remember how awful it was. Luckily he's feeling better now with some antibiotics in him. |

You guys really get me. It was one of those Totino's pizzas and H gave me half of his. And cleaned up my mess because I had to walk away to keep from losing it. He's a saint that man.

rebeccabunch Maybe we went to the same school! I went to a Big 10 school in the Midwest too. I have friends who went to UF-Gainesville in FL who know what pokey stix are, so I figured it wasn't just a Midwest thing. I'm glad someone knows about their deliciousness though!
