I'm coming out of lurkdom to help the cause.
Do you think Charles will follow in his mother's footsteps and wear bright coloured clothes to help be seen? I keep getting a mental image of Jim Carrey in that orange tuxedo in Dumb and Dumber

I think he’s holding onto her coattails for as long as possible.

(So many tiaras I can’t remember if the money thing was posted) One side still has QEII I think he’s holding onto her coattails for as long as possible. I read a theory online that if he has half a brain he would continue to remind people of his connection with Queen Elizabeth because was cut a lot of slack and a lot of people had soft spots for her due to her age, how long she reigned, being old, etc etc etc and he doesn’t have any of that. I also read an article that said the Queen had the benefit of becoming Queen young and people grew with her and had sympathy for a young woman in a “male dominated” arena blah blah blah but with Charles what you see is someone who has had a lifetime to win peoples affection and good graces and hasn’t… and any screw yo is going to be seen from a lens of “he had 70+ years to prepare and still can’t get it right”

Alexander Calder, circa 1937. Starting bid $200,00 USD This is so delightfully weird. I would actually expect nothing less from Calder. I enjoy his whimsy.

(So many tiaras I can’t remember if the money thing was posted) One side still has QEII I think he’s holding onto her coattails for as long as possible. To be fair, it seems like it's a limited release, designed in memory of the Queen. Probably designed more so to be keepsakes vs actual in circulation coinage.

The larger coin (the one with QEII on one side) is just commemorative and worth 5 pounds. The smaller one is for general circulation and worth 50 pence.

I'm wondering with all the side profile thing, if it makes any of them want to get a nose job.
Like I look fine straight on, but my side profile... is... a lot.

Like are there ones made during the transition from George to Liz? I’m not invested enough to research this. I just want to be a judgy mcjudgerson.
