Any idea how we might get fleas if our cats never go outside? I think I just saw one on the carpet My indoor cat got fleas one year. It was a weird weather year so the bugs were really high. It can happen. For what it's worth, my husband thought I was nuts when I though I saw fleas.

Except I feel like I'd see more then one? I'm pretty sure one of the cats was sitting near where I saw it within 20 minutes or less though. So that could explain it

sweet baby Jesus they're taking me off of financial audits and putting me in charge of the environmental department while my boss is away. And if it's good I get to keep it! Now I don't feel as weird having "Environmental Scientist" on my business card hahaha.

mrspiatt you may have said this and I apologize if I missed it, but what's the appeal of Belize? Have either of you been there for an extended period of time? No, we haven't spent any significant amount of time there... just vacation. Neither of us have lived outside of LA County or spent any significant amount of time anywhere, only vacations. The appeal of Belize is English being their native language, the cost of living, the beauty of the country. The appeal of it was for when we retire, so the idea a moving there with the kids is something that is new and I'm trying to figure out even if H and I were in a great place, would I want to raise the kids there. Ultimately I have 2 things that my decision will come down to... how comfortable am I moving to a foreign country with H (this includes all the issues surrounding his mental health and our relationship). The other is the kids... what will they lose if we make the move. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

mrspiatt, I think your concerns are valid. Definitely worth giving it a lot of thought! I hope you and H can get to a good place and come up with a plan that's great for everyone

mrspiatt I'm just going to be blunt here, but just no to moving to Belize. Moving is tough, international moving I can only imagine how much tougher it is. It can be hard on a relationship, and while you say things are better currently, you've had good periods before. I doubt the stress of an international move would be beneficial on a strained relationship. Plus I assume this would happen after the baby is here, so the added stress of a newborn and a toddler. I get needing to move to a lower cost of living area, but that's extreme. Also, how would that move effect seeing your other kids? Would you need to discuss this with both of your ex's? Even if they have primary custody, there's still visitation. If I were in this situation I would focus on finding the other job first. That seems to be such a major source of stress, so pour all your energy into that. Then you'll have a better idea of what your finances look like and where you can realistically move. Ultimately you guys have to make the revisions for what's best for you. None of us here know everything about your situation. But from what you've previously said about your H he acts impulsively, that's not a great place to make major decisions from. I'm sorry if any of this comes across as harsh, I'm just giving you my honest thoughts. Let me know if you want me to poof any if this.

So I had today off as a vacation day because my mom was out of town (she watches M Tues/Thurs.). We did some errands, met a friend for lunch and I started painting some new doors DH put in. But what I thought was teething symptoms seems it may be evolving into more (wondering allergies maybe, or a cold). Poor guy is a tad pitiful today, with his runny eyes and nose, and scratchy voice. Plus drool and I saw the points of one of the molars coming through. He asked to go to bed early again tonight. FX he is better tomorrow. I can work from home, but I am definitely way less productive when M is around.
Also count down until my actual vacation! 3 more days until 2 weeks off! Can't wait!

Any other A15 babes like to torment family pets?? My poor dog Theo has been so extremely patient with M, but man is he bothersome to him! Pulling on his ears, poking his eyes. Theo just sits there and takes it, and I try to keep them separated, but it's so hard.

I'm slightly freaked out. Ethan hit his head pretty hard. It happened about an hour ago. He's wimpering on And off. Super snuggly. Keeps rubbing where he hit. I called the after hours and waiting for call back.

Today my papa turned 89! We will celebrate with most of the family on Saturday. N and him love each other sooo much! We call him papa *last name* for N but N just calls him *last name* which is adorable. He is a Marine (you know, once a Marine, always a Marine!) so being called by the last name is cute.

layloo N is so adorable! Those cheeks! And no we haven't tried any allergy meds yet. The clear runny nose and eyes just started today. I've given him saline nasal spray and put the humidifier back on in his room to try to help with the stupid tickle cough he gets (but it's really more from post nasal drip, so not sure that will do much). If he is still like this after a couple days, I will take him to the Dr. Don't want him sick for his first camping trip next week!

jedi hopefully you hear back from the peds office. Keep any eye on him and lots of snuggles. And deep breaths from you, I'm sure he will be fine. Not to freak you out, but I was at the hospital the other day and was sitting in the waiting room staring at a sign about concussions, and it stated you don't need to lose consciousness in order to have a concussion. It said to look for changes in behaviour, dizziness, vomitting etc. I find it so crazy when different medical professionals can give such varied information. Like RunsforWineandCarbs mentioned she was just told yesterday something different.

He's asleep. Fuck I'm nervous. This isn't normal. He gets put to bed at like 730 but is awake until like 830 or 9.
She mentioned it's possibly a headache and nothing more. Going to try to wake him at 830ish

Deck is done! Just need to install the new light fixture and find some furniture for it. I also just realized I have left the grill on for over 1 1/2 hours to burn dinner off the grates. Oops.

armpants 1st of all, I love you for your bluntness, frankly... I love that about A15 in general. I'm not at all tricking myself into thinking things are okay between me and H. I know darn well that he and I are not in a solid place and if we were to decide to make the move, we'd definitely have more work to do prior to the move than if we were to make the move to NH or somewhere else in the US. The stress of the new baby is a good point... as for the boys, we'd visit once a year and fly them out once a year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
