Peekaru, no tubes discussion yet. He had 4 or 5 his first year, but he hasn't had any since Christmas besides these last two. He always responds really well to antibiotics so I don't think he is up to the level if needing tubes. These last two have been right on top of each other but he has one molar coming in right after another.

Peekaru, that's exactly where we were coming from. If/when we need or want something, we just go and get it. So birthday gifts are usually just random.. things.. I'd much rather a trip.

J's fever got up to almost 103 last night so off to the doctor we go this morning. I've had to reschedule a work meeting and a hair appointment already since I won't be there today and probably tomorrow. If these molars could quit leading to ear infections, that'd be great. This was my DS with almost every tooth that came through, he had an EI. Finally had tubes put in and saw a huge improvement. Never had drainage from them (indicating an EI) until we were at the 3 year mark of having them in. Drops in the ear is 12345647613241687631354% easier than oral antibiotics.

Good morning ladies! Sorry about J PizzaslutRunsforWineandCarbs she's so freaking adorable... even with a head wound. I'm glad it's nothing too bad. I wouldn't worry about the blood in the hair today. Betweenthelines so cute! I really wanted to get A the lavender bike, but we live on a steep hill and have a pool in the back and every 5 feet or so, the concrete steps up in the back, so she'd have no place for it. taketheshot I never caught up yesterday, but it sounds like a call is well deserved. I already hate the dentist as it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

taketheshot I would definitely be calling and complaining about the hygienist. That is beyond uncalled for and unprofessional.

Today will be a busy day... I have an OB appt at 10:40, this is a new doc, but same office. This is my last attempt with the current office, I really don't want to make a change this far into the pregnancy, but I need to feel like that at least partially know what they're re doing. I need to get laundry done, at least some for A. She needs her Doc McStuffins shirt clean for her party and she has an audition tomorrow afternoon, so I need to find her an outfit for that. I still need to make cupcakes for tomorrow and figure out how to make this damn stethoscope craft work. I'm having a hard time attaching the ribbon to the headbands. I may need to just stick them on at home and bring them to the park partially made. Are battery operated hot glue guns a thing?

Not much going on here today. I'm working, have Orkin coming over around 12 to sign a contract for the rest of the season and need to go pick up my grocery order between 5 and 6.

Oh... I'm not even sure how I feel writing this out. H wants to move to Belize. This isn't something totally out of the blue... we've discussed it in the past, we both love it there. English is their primary language and they drive on our side of the street, it's where we said we'd move when/if we retire. He wants to move next year. His reasoning is he doesn't feel like NH is a possibility. He makes 6 figures and we are in the red every month. He said its not like he gets to enjoy any of it because he's always working, which is true. He spends at least 90% of the time he is awake working or commuting to and from work. At most he sleeps 6 hours a night during the week. I know a change needs to be made, so for his current state, I haven't taken it off the table. He'll be out of town for work next week so I'll talk to him when he gets back. I can move to a country like Belize with someone who I can't necessarily count on. I can move across our country, I'd even be okay with moving to Canada, but a 3rd world country is a bit different. It is kind of tempting though...

My H is overnighting in San Juan Puerto Rico today. They gave him a penthouse suite.
Once again, I am on the short end of this whole work stick.

mrspiatt, my biggest concern is moving THAT far with someone that you are still trying to... figure things out with. This isn't just a -you and him- move. There are young kids in play. Please seriously think it through long and hard.

Please seriously think it through long and hard. That's definitely one of my big concerns... the 2nd being the impact it'll have on the kids for the rest of their life. Primarily Allison, because she's already here, I see her personality and her potential. What if we decide to move there and we stay... I can home school the kids or we can put them in private school (which is an American school equivalent) but, what about after? Will she stay there and not live up to her potential? I don't want that for her. I guess maybe it'll help that DD1 will be here if we were to make the move. idk- my thoughts are super scattered and I don't know how much sense any of that made. I was hoping to not have to sign a contract, but the price to finish the year versus a one time treatment is far better. However, I don't know if I want to sign up for next year.

We use them, but not on contract. They came last month to treat for ants. They charge you and come again in 3 months, but if you see any bugs or anything within that 3 months of already paying - they will come as many times as needed. So this is their 3rd visit, and then before September we will cancel the services. We got a good deal, so for $150 we have their services for 3 months, which to me is worth it because it's our time and materials if we do it ourselves.

mrspiatt, it makes sense. I'm also in the camp of not making any big major (life changing) decisions while pregnant..

We are doing 1 ant treatment and then every month up and possibly through October for mosquitos and ticks. We haven't seen any ticks, but mosquitos have been horrible. He said he would do that price next year for a full season and then we can add on pest as needed. I know we can spray for them ourselves (my uncle does his), but am trying to decide if it is something we want to tackle on our own or not.

fierymama, oh yeah, mosquito treatment was a lot extra. I actually have a different company coming today to spray for them, one time (before the kids party) for $75.

Betweenthelines - That is what I wanted to do, but we found a ton of ants. We don't have any of the companies with "mosquito" in the name in our area. I would have preferred the one time treatment, but can't ration paying $210 for a one time treatment for both when they say 399 for the rest of the season. 😕

mrspiatt, how old is your husband. Is he having a mid life crisis? He's 39... not so much a midlife crisis as it is the fact that our lives have changed so much in the past 6 months... and not for the better. He is bipolar, so that's something I need to keep in mind as well. Wanting to move away is kind of something that's always been a thing, but having a blended family makes it pretty difficult. I sent DS to live with his dad in March and his son chose to move to HI with his mom (he just left on the 11th). So this is the 1st time in the 10 years we've been together that moving (even just outside of our city) makes sense for us. Neither of us are close with family, his mom is dead, his dad is okay, but his stepmom is a bitch, plus they're up in WA anyway. I'm so so about my parents... I don't care for either of them much. I have a sister in Chicago I'm close to, but I live in CA. Only thing worth staying for is DD1, but she'll be 21 next month... she's getting ready to move out and live her own life. Moving is definitely something that will be happening in the next 9 months or so... it's just a matter of where to. He picked Belize because it's something we've looked at for 5 years, but it's always been a pipe dream... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
