Um, cagoldi, your before shots look great and I love your Pixies shirt. I can't tell a difference but I think it might because it's a different angle and your H (SO) is sort of covering your body.

They were great in concert. ❤️ ETA: I'm not loving how my legs and hips look in the before but reality is I'll always stay heavier in that area no matter what I weigh, so not much I can do really.

Hi everyone! I joined Noom today and figured I would join in after lurking. My 'baby' is 2 now so saying it's baby weight just isn't working for me. I recently moved and started a desk job for the first time and have gained 15lbs since then. I've got about 20lbs to lose to be at a healthy and comfortable weight for myself. Basically I don't like to exercise and I really really like food, and not good food. Cookies, cake, brownies, chips, cheese, Diet Coke and wine are my weaknesses. I need some serious help and the accountability. I'm hoping this helps and gets me to a better place.

Good morning! I made another tasty, easy dinner last night. It was white chicken chili.
I put 1 pack of boneless, skinless thighs in the crockpot with 2 cans of diced chilis, 1 diced onion, and about a half cup or so of water. Cooked all day. Just before dinner I added 2 cans of rinsed and drained white beans, cumin, oregano, garlic and salt.
I had enough calories for cheese and guacamole on top.

Yesterday was rough.
We were at our retreat so we had breakfast and lunch there. I stayed away from the pancakes and I had scrambled eggs and sausage. For lunch I just had a spoonful of red potatoes salad with deli ham, cheese with no bread and fruit.
I then had to run to open house and by the time we got done it was almost 7. Dd picked IHOP so that's where we went. I got a blt and fries that was less calories than any of their salads. I stayed within calories but I feel slightly bloated today and I'm up a pound.
Other than the bloat this morning I feel good. I wore a pair of shorts Sunday that at the beginning of the summer were slightly tight. I feel lighter and I'm motivated to keep going

I ate breakfast lunch and dinner yesterdAy but I smacked too much. I was hungry. Today I plan to keep my snacking in check and wear my Fitbit the first time in 2 months. I'm very happy about finding my charger that thing really helps keep me moving.

Good morning!
Had a rough afternoon yesterday, just constantly hungry. I drank a bunch of water but it didn't help so I had an unplanned early supper at work from the cafeteria. Ended up 177 calories over my goal.
Tried making a protein shake with cold coffee this morning because I swear I've seen recipes for this before and it was awful. Sad.

Sorry, I'm shotgun posting, apparently. LOL Mapped out my week and my protein isn't as great on all days, but I figure it's an accomplishment to get over 100 on at least a couple days. This is what I tell myself. I recognize I might be delusional. I'm also only 8 lbs away from the big 100 lost. Eyes on the prize. I want to lose about 115 total but that 100 will be a big deal for me. I'm not sure what your ended up with as a long term protein goal, but new guidelines have been released on protein intake amounts. I feel like you would fall more into the aerobic/endurance category (or maybe stop and go sports), so might be worth recalculating with the new suggestions. anabolicminds.com/articles/protein-requirements-maximal-performance-30340/

Today is day 1. I like that Noom wants to hold my hand and basically pat me on the head and tell me I'm pretty. Even if I do nothing right, they will be proud of me which I need. I like simple terms and making it look easy and manageable.
I packed a good lunch today so I feel like I can stay on track. Muffin and banana for breakfast Grapes for snack Pasta salad, grilled veggies, and cut up veggies for lunch Yogurt and pineapple for snack Dinner is grilled chicken wraps Bedtime snack will likely be cheese and crackers or something with protein.
My weigh in this morning was lower than expected, only 171lbs when I was 175 yesterday. Goal is still 150-155lbs.

I am proud of myself for meeting all movement goals yesterday despite being dead tired from our weekend travels and a painfully long work day. I crashed at 8:45 PM and it put me back on track for a 5 AM run this morning. Meals today: Breakfast: Green smoothie Lunch: Salad with leftover chicken and beans from last night Snack: Low calorie green juice Dinner: Scrambled eggs, chickpea salad with bell peppers and avocado, roasted asparagus Yesterday I wanted to eat everything in sight, so my goal today is to keep snacking to a minimum. I am really torn about whether I want to weigh myself or wait until the weekend. On one hand, I want to keep close track of where I am...on the other, I feel like small fluctuations up can really mess with my head.

I'm currently going through clothes I stored away because they are too small. Most of the stuff I maybe wore once before I got pregnant. It's motivating me more to lose weight because the stuff is sooooo pretty.

Heading out to my dad's with the kids today. I have packed a snack of cheese and strawberries so I have something to eat instead of something out of my dad's "treat stash".
DH will be at work and school until 10 tonight so I'm eating leftovers.

Back on track today. I attacked some leftover Chinese food (which is what DD1 finally settled on for her bday dinner) last night. I had a "scorpion for one" (it was 1 cocktail, not that thing where I drink a scorpion bowl by myself -- lesson learned a long time ago!) and then another drink while meal prepping after the kids went to sleep (enter leftovers!) Plan for today (besides a ton of water!) B: breakfast bowl (2 hard boiled eggs, sautéed spinach, 1/3 cup brown rice, 1/4 avocado) - it's noon and I'm just now getting hungry! L: tuna w/ olive oil & balsamic, veggies & 100 cal bag of cape cod chips S: yogurt, fruit D: eggplant parmesan
I plan to workout this evening after the girls go to bed, probably a DVD at home.

For some reason eating more protein seems to be making me hungrier. Get your shit together, metabolism. I'm trying to work on my water intake, I've slacked off some. When I have to adjust to higher numbers, mine gets weird for a little bit. The water should help too. I make a point to add in a little extra fiber too.

I'm halfway through the work day and the candy dish is tempting me. I have no self control and this is the worst time of day for me. Lunch is finished and I'm trying to hold off an hour or so before I eat my yogurt. I wish I could just get up and do more, but this is a busy time for everyone else in the building. Sitting at my desk leads to eating out of boredom.
I did realize already that I need more protein in the morning. I forgot the peanut butter for my banana and that slowed me down a bit. I'll have to think ahead and make some hard boiled eggs or have chicken cooked up to throw in lunches easily.
