Also, hi. Weekend check in.
I did not eat well this weekend but made some positive steps that I can feel starting to snowball. I tracked all of my food and I can see that my protein is roughly just over half of what I should be eating. So still going to focus on that. This week will be hard since everything is packed up for next weekend's move and I'm not grocery shopping - just pantry/freezer shopping for the week.
And I'm just about to go workout which I feel good about. So not a total waste but still too much junk food.

If you can tolerate the pouches of tuna, those are a great pantry protein item.

Pouches of tuna don't sound appealing but I think it might be in my head rather than an actual dislike. I could try them.

I was the same way. They are flavored, which helps a lot. I generally do the hickory. DH says lemon pepper is decent. At least they are cheap to try if you don't like it.

Weigh in day again: down 2.4 pounds for a total of 12!
I'm a little nervous for today. We have a staff retreat at a local hotel and they are serving breakfast and lunch there. I am hoping I can eat something some what good for me.
Good thing is I'll be up and moving today

I love this thread! You all are so motivating!
This weekend wasn't necessarily pretty, but at least an improvement over my normal habits.
According to my spreadsheet (thanks for the idea @juliagulia!) I'm down 3.5lbs for the week. I'm pretty happy with that! I think the whole weekly averages is genius because I used to get so caught up in a single number that a 1-2 day increase could derail me.

I've been sick for most of the last 4 days so eating has been sparing. I'll be at an eclipse party for lunch. I hope the food isn't too bad. I'm going to bring a healthy egg salad.

leatherpants, I could not have eaten tuna while pregnant (because of the smell.) In case that's you, I love the chocolate whey protein shake mix in a blender with ice cubes, a little water, cinnamon, a banana, and two tablespoons of nut butter. Please go try it- you can thank me later. 😉

I've finished four weeks on Noom and am feeling pretty good, even though the results aren't really showing on the scale.
How are you guys feeling? Any weekly goals or milestones?

Motivated! Fitbit asked if I wanted to set a new goal after reaching 170, so my new goal is 150. And I think this success was the icing on DH's cake, because he's finally decided to jump on the bandwagon and start his own diet/exercise plan. He's asked if I will take his before pictures and measurements this evening when he wakes up. We have the same weight goal now. We're going to crush it! 💪🏻

The 2015 ones were something. It is good to see that there are changes happening. I was thinking about this this weekend, about how I need to just get photographic evidence in the books because otherwise it's so easy to lose sight of progress over time. I just cringe at the idea of the photos right now. I had been completely ugh on the idea of pictures. I feel pretty gross- I weighed as much when we started Noom as I did when I gave birth both times, but there was no baby, so the weight more was more distributed. I am wearing a size I never thought I'd wear (in the wrong way, not the good way.) And then I read something about not being afraid of the before pics because they're you're starting point and how you shouldn't be ashamed of where you are, just looking forward to where you're going and blah blah. Instead of thinking it was hokey, it really resonated with me. I even took the picture right after my workout when I was all sweaty and gross. That isn't what I want for myself but I'm solidly in my truth now- and that's where I am. Idk- sharing in case it's helpful.

So here I am- the first pic was when my second kid was a baby, and I wanted to lose 10lbs then. The second is me now, 20lbs heavier, hard at work to get back to THAT body. HilarityEnsued, you heifer, come look before my natural privacy instinct kicks in and I take them down- or until I'm too ashamed of my before pic, whichever comes first.

PS, you look great in both pictures thisbitch. And I totally thought of you while I was making excuses to myself last night about why I wasn't going to work out. So I did it and it felt great. Why on earth do I forget that so easily?

Sorry, I'm shotgun posting, apparently. LOL Mapped out my week and my protein isn't as great on all days, but I figure it's an accomplishment to get over 100 on at least a couple days. This is what I tell myself. I recognize I might be delusional. I'm also only 8 lbs away from the big 100 lost. Eyes on the prize. I want to lose about 115 total but that 100 will be a big deal for me. Shiny, this is so amazing. Even 92 lbs lost is such a gigantic accomplishment! I'm so proud and a teeny bit green with envy. Envy at the weight loss but really envious about your stick-with-it ness to not quit and keep going. Seriously. Way to go.

We shall have a virtual party to celebrate when you meet your goal. You are kicking ass. Seriously, you've made huge strides in multiple areas of your life in the past year or so. I'm sure some days it doesn't feel like that, but I'm over here in awe of all you're doing. 💕

Does anyone have any YouTube channels for exercising with a toddler? I like working out but I haven't been able to do since June due to my kid quitting naps. I figured maybe some fun toddler workout videos would work and be something until we move.

I'm back on the wagon today. I did 30min on the treadmill and an hour of yoga this morning after a breakfast of scrambled eggs and strawberries. Post workout protein shake. Currently grilling chicken for a spinach salad with strawberries, avocados, balsamic vinegrette and a teeny bit of goat cheese. Dinner tonight will be Hawaiian tacos...BBQ chicken with pineapple salsa.

I did ok atDD1's bday party yesterday. No cake, except a bite. I snacked & finished off the last 2 glasses of sangria at night. I took today off. I ran 4 miles at the gym, had a good breakfast. Ate some leftover pasta salad as a snack & veggies & dip (w/ a few chips) for lunch. DD's real birthday is today (I have a 6 year!) and she's decided on Mexican tonight. So, I'll be spending the rest of the week trying to lose the water weight from tonight's dinner!!

I didn't manage to do a single Pilates work out last week.
I'll have to force myself tonight.
I promised my little dude a marshmallow fight, pizza, and trip to Yogurtland later to try to give him something to look forward to after school (first day of Pre-K and he was nervous). It's going to take everything I have not to just make a meal out of frozen yogurt.

Happy Monday ladies!
I had a fabulous weekend away in Chicago. Though I think my eating was mostly kept in-check, there were some indulgences and many drinks consumed. I tracked our walking on my Apple watch and between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we walked a little over 37 miles. I believe I tripled my movement goal 2 out of 3 of the days. HOPEFULLY that will help balance out some of the increased beer calories.
Our flight got in late, so no morning workout today. I am hoping to go for a walk during my lunch break and then maybe some yoga later so I can ensure I make all of my activity goals. I also didn't have time to grocery shop or meal plan, so I feel like I am starting the week behind schedule. Oh well, it was worth it.
Headed to Whole Foods in a little bit to get my salad for lunch and I hope to get everything back on-track tomorrow.

It's a packing miracle! I found my Fitbit charger huzzah! It's currently charging now and I cannot wait to wear it again. This thing help keeps me moving.
