Thanks angelashly and Ali7P. I am usually good about prepping things and setting them out the night before. I don't know why I had such a brain fart this morning. I decided to go home for lunch. It's a work day, so I'm not limited to such a short break. I'm going to eat my premade lunch and watch a show and decompress. Then I can grab the other things I forgot for the rest of the day.

I've decided to weigh in on Fridays and Monday's with Mondays being my official weigh in. I think this will help me with weekends and seeing where I need work.
Today is going to be rough because we have our graduation we are putting on and therefore no lunch. Here's to hoping I don't starve and then binge tonight. I am meeting my aunt and dd at my sister's work, which is a pizza place, but they have the best salads too so I am planning on a cobb salad.
Down another 1.5 pounds as of today.

I weighed in today and for the first time didn't have a loss. I've been weighing in a couple of times this week and I know that today's weight is artificially high (and probably due to too much sodium) but even so, it's disappointing. It feels like what I've been worried about (losing momentum when the school year starts) is coming true. This was my first full week of work, early wake up, feeling tired, etc. This morning I left my house to drop both my girls at daycare before coming in. It was a perfect metaphor for how life is when things get busy. I made sure both girls had exactly what they needed for school--swim clothes for water party, water bottles, snack, sunscreen, etc. It wasn't until we were on the road that I realized I had NOTHING that I needed. I forgot my lunch, my snacks, my water, even my wedding ring. Even though I know that the scale wasn't super reliable this morning, I'm feeling a little defeated. I'll snap out of it in a bit. Maybe once I have my coffee. ((Hugs)) I'm sorry the scale didn't reflect your work. I hope that once you get in the swing of things you'll get better about remember YOU. I feel the same way, so often. The girls are set and I'm forgetting something major. There was one morning where I was feeling so together, I was on time I have everything I and the girls needed. I had gotten the girls where they were going and I realized I hadn't put on makeup or BRUSHED MY HAIR! Makeup I can do without. But WTF to the hair thing!!
Anyway, some unsolicited advice on remembering your stuff. I bought myself a cute lunch bag for work and I put it next to DD's. So when I'm packing her lunch, I'm packing mine at the same time. I do my best to prep everything for the all of us the night before. I'm sure this is stuff you've thought of, but taking 15 min at night to prep it all makes a huge difference in my stress level in the mornings.
Good luck and maybe you can think of a NSV to focus on for this week.
This is why I keep a brush in the car.

Has anyone thought about meal plans for the week? I'm so focused on the party Sunday, but I need to buy groceries for the week too. I think I'm going to make these for breakfast: damndelicious.net/2017/03/13/avocado-and-egg-breakfast-meal-prep/I figured out the calories on MFP and they're 373 with spinach swapped out for the kale (kale sucks). I need to plan my lunches and dinners. Saturday: we'll be out at IKEA so I guess we'll all just have the veggie balls Sunday: jumbo stuffed shells, panzanella Monday: leftovers Tuesday: pistachio lentil biryani with cauliflower tikka masala Wednesday: lentil "meatloaf," zucchini gratin, mashed potatoes Thursday: sweet potato and black bean chili, roasted artichokes Friday: burrito bowls I'll make a tofu quiche and some chia pudding Sunday so I have some breakfast items ready.

I made a great dinner last night.
I diced and sautéed two onions, then added two cans of diced tomato, and two cans or rinsed and drained chickpeas, and two tablespoons of curry paste. Stir and heat (on stove) until warm or until you're ready to eat.
I microwaved two bags of frozen cauliflower rice and served the curry over that. It made enough for dinner for me and H, and leftovers for his lunch today.

I spoke with my coach and since I failed horribly last week we are still continuing to focus on my goal to eat breakfast. My issue is I don't eat until 4pm. Breakfast: 4pm
Lunch: 6pm
Dinner:9pm
It's a terrible habit I managed to pick up. I basically need to retrain my body to be hungry at normal meal times. So I'm shifting my meals up slowly.
Breakfast: 12pm
Lunch: 3pm
Dinner: 730/8pm
I'm also going to continue using my coloring books to prevent me from unnecessary snacking.

I am. I need to do better about participating in the group. I know when I was participating the first two weeks it helped keep me more motivated. I will get back to that asap. I was just overwhelmed with everything going on I let that slide.

I was just overwhelmed with everything going on I let that slide. They just merged two groups because both were slowing down, so there's a bit more life over there. I'm trying to be all in on the Noom thing. Sometimes I feel a little cheesy, but I really, really want to make a change, and I'm paying for it, and I felt like I was maybe cheating myself out of the full benefit of the program by not fully working it, so I'm trying. I don't know if it will help, but I am desperate to make a longer term lifestyle change.

@thisvit h yes I agree but sometimes we need cheerleaders to pick up up when we are done are to cheer us on when we are doing awesome.
This is a cheesy statement but it's true the group weight loss thing works.

I'm down 3.5 lbs for week 1, lots of water weight for sure as this weight is where I had hovered until the last month or so. I'm less bloated and the jeans that I had a hard time buttoning last week were more comfortable today.
Meals planned: B- 2 egg omelet with 1 piece of bacon/bell pepper/swiss cheese and coffee L- grilled chicken and sauteed broccoli slaw S- I'm thinking some sort of fish, rice and veggie Snacks- cottage cheese, assorted raw veggies, strawberries

I weighed myself today and was 2 lbs up from last Sunday. I have been great with food and working out, so I am sure it was mostly water--but it was kind of a kick in the gut. I went out and ran an instead interval run then meditated and felt a little better. Then, I measured myself and have lost a total of 4 inches in the past 2 weeks the scale really isn't everything. Off to Chicago for a getaway weekend with H. I hope everyone is have a great day so far.

I'm over a few ounces for my month 1 Transformer weigh in. One more day to drop it. Stupid period. My tricks were going to bed a bit hungry, fasting for the morning and hitting up the pool or sauna the morning of weigh in. A couple of oz should be ok to lose. Good luck!

I'm going to try to go here. I've really fallen off the wagon - my workouts are almost nil and my eating has been all carbs and pretty much nothing else. As a result I think I've gained way too much weight already (I've packed up my scale) and I'm already struggling with the idea of gaining the weight I lost, even if it's expected. But you guys are really motivating and really active in here and I want to join without being a creeper.
I'm not Nooming or WWering but I will be MFPing (lol. I just laughed at p-ing).

I read this article a few days ago. It's interesting, funny, sweary and, IMHO, good advice about losing weight/fat. physiqonomics.com/fat-loss/

Home and reset. I realized I likely forgot all of my stuff because my weigh in kind of derailed my thinking this morning. I need to do measurements so I stop giving the scale so much control of my mood. I also need to lay off soy sauce. Now I'm heading back to work with all my stuff. I need a dinner plan so H doesn't order pizza. Probably tilapia from the freezer.

Also the link under the "If It Fits Your Macros" part I love a lot. It annoys me in some of my groups (not this one) the fucked up shit people eat because "It fits". Shut up and eat normal food asshole. Apparently the swears are contagious.

I ended up at Taco Bell after our graduation I mean it's fine because it was in calories and I'm eating salad for dinner, but still. Oh well onwards and upwards. I'm home for about an hour so I'll start meal planning
