Hi Sunny41 ! Sounds like you're off to a great start this week, brux . I've been eyeing DietBet and maybe everyone has just talked me in to doing it. HI! I was doing great on my diet until CA, too many Mai Tais, and I'm finally back on track. Have you tried water aerobics at all? Not sure if it would help you get workout in without too much other pain. I'm not into diet bets, just not my thing. But I wish everyone luck! Haven't tried water aerobics but I'm thinking I'll look into that. I know I love Pilates so I'll probably incorporate a few workouts this week and see how my joints feel. I'll keep you posted.

I am actually feeling like I may be able to stick with this Noom thing. I feel like the daily tasks are really helping me to pinpoint what my triggers are and why I eat the way I do.
I actually feel like I may be able to actually lose weight this time or at least adopt a healthy lifestyle.

thisbitch is there any way to go back and find a previous day's Noom lessons? I saw you commented on my post about macros and I know I didn't read anything yesterday - have they talked about other macros before this Protein day?

So a couple of observations today. Plain Greek yogurt is the stuff nightmares are made of. I'm just going to say this morning I dubbed it the jizz of Satan. I used it in a protein shake and it took over the whole thing. It's on my meal plan for tomorrow too, but starting next week I'm trying something else. Hork. Cutting down carbs while you're on your period is cruel and unusual punishment. It was a very much acquired taste for me. The first time I had it was just a Tbs on top of oatmeal and compote and I ate around it. I actually use it in place of mayo on sandwiches.

I'm using it in place of sour cream for my enchiladas tonight. I've never minded the taste, but when I first started eating it I was mixing it with dark chocolate and frozen strawberries so it wasn't really plain, even though the flavor was still there.

My husband took me on a day date.
I always go nuts when he takes me to a vegan restaurant because it's so rare we get to visit one but I had like, 6 courses.
Can't wait to try to track these calories.

Yesterday and today were the intro to macros days. It was pretty basic info, and I can find something comparable for you if you can't go back.

Last night i ended up having dinner at my parents house & they had chicken salad sandwiches (I can trace my bad eating habits back to my mom who chooses taste/pleasure of eating over nutrition). I'm proud that I had a small amount of French bread (I eye balled a Panera size banquette portion) & about 1/4 cup of chicken salad. I had some grapes & cucumber on the side. I did Jillian Michaels Hard Body after the kids went to bed.

Also, it's been a crazy busy day so I'm glad I planned ahead. B: breakfast bowl (eggs, chicken sausage, broccoli and potatoes) L: Chinese chicken fried rice S: cheese stick & grapes D: Skinny taste chicken parm & salad
I also want to workout this evening after dinner. I'd like to get to the gym if I can, but might just pop in a DVD.

thanks for the tag! I'm peacock, formally known as priss08. I was a reg on OAD for a long time but ever since my oops IUD baby I mostly hang here. I have about 30-50lbs left to loose. I've already lost 105 lbs over the last couple years; except for during my pregnancy, but I mean duh. Lol I'm a MFP kinda lady and I lift and jog with my two kiddos in my double jogger.

That sounds good.

So far today food has been:
B: Tuna and a over medium egg with siracha L: Cauliflower chicken "fried rice" with a oui yogurt. D: Strawberry bacon bluecheese salad with a balsamic vinnegrett (I'm going to eat this in peace after the kids are in bed)
As a snack I ate a half of a sugar baby watermelon.

I went to my fav yoga class for the third week in a row. I think I'm back in the habit!
Heading on vacation tomorrow but it will be a very active one, so I'm hoping to relax with the food and drink a bit and just have fun. We tend to eat pretty healthy on this trip (it's an annual one) but we drink. A lot. 😉

I did well yesterday. MFP gives me 1600 calories before activity. I ran 3 miles & ended the day at 1860. Today's plan: B: breakfast bowl S: yogurt L: chicken fried rice S: cantaloupe, cheese stick D: I may eat the lady breakfast bowl that I prepped. I have a hair appt at 6:30 so it doesn't leave time to cook. H & the girls will probably order a pizza. I got up early & did Jillian Michaels Hard Body again. My goal for the next four weeks is to do it 2x's a week along w/ my half marathon training.

I had oatmeal this morning. It was filling but not as satisfying as I wanted. Lunch & Dinner are leftovers (southwest chicken and pork chops).
Looking forward to burning lots of calories at my water aerobics class since I ate lots of crap again last night. I really want to break 15# this week.

Good morning ladies.
My meals today: Breakfast: green smoothie Lunch: Salad with some leftover green chile pork and oil-free avocado vinaigrette Snack: Yogurt (pasture raised, low sugar) Dinner: Lentil soup with mushrooms and kale
I also got up early to get a weight training workout in. I really pushed myself and think I will likely be sore tomorrow. I only have one day left to finish the 6-week program and then I will need to figure out something else.

Yesterday was a really good day for me. For whatever reason, I was starving all day, rather than go off the rails and eat everything in my path, I made good choices and focused on eating protein and vegetables.
For dinner, we didn't have anything planned which usually means I'll suggest take out, but my husband suggested we cook together instead. We made a yummy dish with pattypan squash from our garden. It was lovely and filling.

Ok, brux and HilarityEnsued, when you're in the Noom home screen and you see the dates across the top of the screen, you can click on the date you want to access and go back and review anything from that day. I think Monday was the 14th, so click the 14 and you'll be able to see the lessons on macros and from that day. You can also go back and access old food logs this way. Or your weight for your spreadsheet

I'm already planning a high calorie day today because I want a Blizzard. Get in my mouth. We also ended up going to Melt last night and I couldn't resist trying the Monte Cristo. It is turkey, ham, Swiss, and American, and the bread is deep fried and dusted with powdered sugar like a funnel cake. Totally worth it. Believe it or not, the scale was down this morning. LOL Go figure. (I am not encouraging eating all the deep fried things. Just a funny coincidence that will likely bite me in the ass after said Blizzard today.) I always call this the Boom. As in, I wonder when the Boom will hit because I know it will eventually, but I just don't know when I'll see the impact on the scale from my fourteen pizza slice dinner.

Yesterday was a good day. Hit my 10k steps at work, drank my 80oz of water, ended about 100 cals under my 1860 goal.
I tried Good Culture cottage cheese and was not a fan, so I'll stick to my Anderson Ericson. Also tried Halo Top that my mom bought....it wasn't terrible.
Meals for today: B- cheerios, strawberries, milk L- Mexican quinoa S- pork chops and veggies Snacks- cottage cheese, carrots/cucumber/peppers. And Starbucks iced coffee.
