I haven't. I never have the bandwidth to think about it until Sundays. And then I regret waiting so long to figure it out, lol.

@juliagulia - I've done the dr. Oz 3-day smoothie cleanse a couple times.
It's at least real food.

No meal plan yet. I generally aim for meal planning on Sundays because I am firmly in the "I don't cook on weekends" camp. Next week will be a little weird because my H will be out of town W-F and my SD will be with her mom starting Wednesday morning. I am going to take that opportunity to base my meals off all the random super-healthy things the rest of the family won't eat. TBD. I am really looking forward to only needing to provide for myself for a few days. Trying to balance meals with my restrictions without restricting them has been tough. I got up this morning and got my 5th 5 AM workout in this week and just got back from a 1.5 mile lunch time walk. I am feeling much more positive about everything today. Currently eating a spinach salad with chickpeas and grilled chicken.

Yep. I do all my planning Thursday and prep Sunday when the kids nap. I chop tons veggies and put them in glassware for a "build your own salad bar" situation in the fridge. Usually make a pot of rice also that I can use for fried rice, sushi bowls, and burrito bowls for lunch. If I have time, I'll make some smoothie packets too. Sunday: superfood crunch salad, summer corn soup Monday: tofu scramble, home fries Tuesday: quinoa stuffed peppers Wednesday: leftovers Thursday: Bombay potatoes and peas, naan Friday: spicy black beans, cilantro lime rice Saturday: 1 Pot Vegan Barbacoa Looking at this I realize I'm on a kick with Mexican food... @juliagulia, when I did the 5 day cleanse I increased the portion sizes of the protein a bit (the plan is about 1200 calories, I increased it to closer to 1500). And I added a hard boiled egg to my breakfast each day, I was too hungry with just the smoothie.

So meal planning. I usually do this on Fridays and grocery shop on Saturdays. I've put together my plan (I mentioned it up thread) for breakfast & lunches. For dinners - Sa: Chicken parm (skinny taste) Su: Burgers or sandwiches M: Slow Cooker Garlic Parm Chicken T: Leftovers W: Salmon Th: Veggie Burgers F: out (probably)
As I mentioned before, my biggest challenge is dinners. So I don't know how much I'll stick to this.

We're leaving for the beach tomorrow so I don't have a meal plan. We both eat salad for breakfast everyday. I have a protein shake or leftovers for lunch. Dinner is almost always a meat and a vegetable. I feed the kids leftovers every night and they eat before we do, so I don't really take them into consideration in my planning. They get some leftover meat with fruit and possibly a spoonful of vegetable that they are required to taste.
We have salmon and veg probably once a week. Burgers (bunless for me) and veg another. Chicken baked in soy vey marinade is a favorite. Aidells chicken meatballs are a big hit here. Those egg white quiches from Costco. White chicken chili. H and the kids love spaghetti and someone here have me the idea of having mine over cauliflower rice, which I like. Burrito bowls with cauliflower rice are in the regular rotation. Last weekend I did the crockpot pot roast with TJs cauliflower mash and we'll have that again.
I'm not fancy.

Ohmigod thisbitch what salad do you eat for BREAKFAST?!?!? RTMFT jk, but I really did say it before. The power greens, plus fruit, plus smoked salmon, plus eggs, plus homemade balsamic vinaigrette. Amaze balls.

Hi. I need this thread. I just ate a pop tart. I really need a solid month of good eating and no travel for work (which always derails me) and I think August is that month. So hello.

HilarityEnsued, did you get your workouts in this week? Do you have any classes planned for the weekend? What about everyone else? How did your goals for this week go? We'll be OOT all week, so I won't be doing my regularly scheduled exercise. I may check out some yoga with Adrienne videos while I'm gone or see if I can find a local class to drop in. Hey sterling, welcome. Do you have a plan for the month or are you winging it?

Hey sterling, welcome. Do you have a plan for the month or are you winging it? I generally do whole30/almost whole30 when I need to get my life in gear. I need lots of protein to lose weight and this forces me to meal plan, which is my biggest problem. I usually eat oatmeal for breakfast, and need to change that to eggs. For lunch, I usually eat at my desk and do lunch meat, veggies, hummus, and an apple (but last week I ate out a lot). I like that if I follow it I don't have to count calories, just watch the food that goes in my mouth. I'm also still doing orangetheory plus yoga once a week, so I feel good about he exercise half of the equation.

Anyone try baked oatmeal? Is it good. I want to add real food in for breakfast instead of always eating shakes

I just weighed myself and I am 4.4 lbs down! I am stoked. I guess the lack of progress midweek was just water. So nice to finally see this pay off.
Debating going for a run this AM and then likely out to brunch with H.
Hope everyone is having a great start to their weekend!

Anyone try baked oatmeal? Is it good. I want to add real food in for breakfast instead of always eating shakes I made mason jar oatmeal in my pressure cooker this week and they were easy to go breakfast that were super filling. Here's the recipe. You could make it on the stove and put it together if you don't have a pressure cooker. www.tidbits-cami.com/2016/05/mason-jar-steel-cut-oats.html

thisbitch my exercise didn't go well but I'm still down 4 lbs from when we started. I'm pleased with that. I WILL work exercise into my schedule this week. I must. What was your sticking point? Also, you know if I lived in the ATL, I would just drag you to workout with me. And if you should ever find yourself here for work, we will make it happen.

I just made this for lunch. Super fast and I have leftovers for early next week.
One container of TJ's Latin Style Black Bean Soup. One can of black beans. One package of frozen TJ's chimichurri rice. Avocado. It's all green or yellow foods. I think I ate about 370 calories worth.
I warmed the soup and beans in a pot. Cooked the rice in a frying pan. Mixed together. Added slices of avocado to my bowl. We all enjoyed it.
