Well I hadn't read news because I had a lovely day with my kids at Dutch Wonderland but now I am back and want to hulk smash everything. I can't do another 3 and a half years of this insanity. I'm losing faith.

Thank you all for updating all this shit show all day. I have been running around with my kids and trying to hide my blinding rage at what is happening. I am at such a loss at how this fucking train wreck continues to plow on, so sad, sick, and angry over everything.

Some strong words from Schumer on the Senate floor just now. This is no kind of amendment process, he looked directly at McConnell and basically said "and the Leader knows it." Democrats will not vote for any amendment until they have seen the bill that they are supposedly amending. Once McConnell shows his hand and they know what the bill is, they will begin offering amendments. Unclear if it was a threat to offer thousands of amendments to kill it (can't remember what that's called) or if it was just a statement that Dems won't waste their breath until then.
But the part where he looked McConnell in the eye and called bullshit was good.
