I read something on Buzzfeed about cutting Theon some slack because of everything he's been through, pointing out not only has he already done brave stuff (like rescue Sansa and kill a bunch of Euron's men during battle) but what a PP said about if he had rushed Euron, either he or Yara or both would be dead.
I don't think we've seen the last of Theon, but here's my guess about how he will end up - eventually he and Euron will square off, Theon will kill Euron but be mortally wounded in the process, and Yara will give forgive him on his deathbed. I feel like Theon will eventually need to die, especially if Yara lives to rule Pyke, because I don't see her - and to a greater extent, the loyal Iron Islands people - accepting Theon in a role of responsibility after what he did.

Also, I had to look into Greyworm's situation down there because I couldn't recall if he was just missing his balls or the whole deal. What's the answer, because I can't remember either. Greyworm has no balls. Theon and Varys have no penis.

Theon can fuck off. Ramsay really did a number on him. He'd better just go ahead and swim right into a shark or something because no one is going to be his friend anymore. Yara's face when Theon jumped just broke my heart. She has had his back through so much and has, in her own weird way, been a good sister to him. And he just... left her to die. I don't think he left her to die though. I mean the uncle had more than enough time to kill Yara before Theon was even aware.

Greyworm has no balls. Theon and Varys have no penis. Thank you! I need a chart about who has and doesn't have a penis. According to A Song of Ice and Fire, Unsullied are fully castrated, meaning Greyworm would have no frank or beans. Not sure if the series is following that or not. Varys is missing both as well, I think Theon still has his balls. This series has a serious obsession with cutting off penii... gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Eunuchs

I don't think he left her to die though. I mean the uncle had more than info time to kill Yara before Theon was even aware. Yeah, that's fair. I like the point a PP made that he likely saved her by not trying to get to her right then. I felt like he wasn't really thinking it through and was just reacting to his trauma, but maybe he was putting more thought into it than I interpreted. She definitely felt abandoned, though, and that was hard to watch after what she's done for him.

cakewench, I agree that the Iron Islands won't accept Theon as a ruler now. He wouldn't want it anyway. They've already accepted Yara as their leader (those who didn't back Euron) but that support will depend on how Yara gets out of her predicament. The only acceptable way for her to get free is to pay the "iron price" (e.g fight her way out, not make a deal). If she negotiates for her release or someone does so for her, she'll be looked upon as weak.

Pretty sure Ellaria (and maybe also Yara) are going to be the "gift" Euron brings to Cercei. They're worth more alive than dead. I also think Ellaria will be Euron's gift to Cersei, but along with her daughter Tyene, not Yara. Ellaria killed Mycella, so what better way to get back at her than kill Tyene while Ellaria watches? I don't think Yara means much to Cersei and think Euron will keep her for himself, for whatever he plans to do with her.

Possibly take her back to the Iron Islands to show off how he bested her to solidify his power there?

Nymeria, the more I think about it, yeah, he's probably going to do something awful to Yara. Or she'll escape somehow. Or Theon will come back and help her escape. Options, there are a-plenty.

I can't believe that there are seriously two characters with the same exact name. I know the names are confusing enough as it is, but really? Nymeria the dog, and one of the sand snakes is Nymeria.

The original Nymeria in the book united Rhoyne and Dorne through marriage and conquest. She was a legit warrior queen. I imagine they're both named after her. I am such a nerd.

I'm just guessing this is true. I haven't done it in real life a lot, mostly on Sundays.

filingjointly, I've been feeling the itch to dig my WOIAF out of the ottoman but the kid hasn't given me the opportunity. Maybe tomorrow will be the day I finally read the Greyjoy chapter.

The actor who plays Hot Pie is baking real direwolf bread and selling it online under the business name "You Know Nothing John Dough". Awesome.

I just remembered that a few weeks ago when we were at a music festival, we saw a lady with long platinum dready hair and MH kept calling her Khaleesi and she was...not amused.
I think she really hated MH. But her hair was fug, anyway.

This is the best. Love the golden girls reference. Anyway, I cannot decide if I am thrilled or sad that's arya chose to go north. I would love to see her kill Cersei, but I think she could bolster the North. Theon disappointed me not saving Yara. I was so hoping he would jump out of nowhere and kill euron while they were battling.

Can we talk about sir Jorah's treatment for a sec? Apparently the crux of it involves removing the scales, possibly applying some kind of medicine. It's forbidden because it's too dangerous for the person doing the treatment. Alright. But if Jorah wasn't so absolutely covered, couldn't he have done the treatment on himself? Publish that shit, and people can do it on themselves the second the scales appear. Granted it sounds like it's not a guarantee, but reduce the mortality rate of grayscale by 40%- here's your Nobel prize grand maester. I'm wondering if dragonglass would have the same haunting effect that it did for Jon's uncle, the one Bran met north of the wall. It stopped him from turning into a white walker or whatever they call their army of undead.
