I just don't buy that Ron would have been like this. Jealousy is a powerful motivator as well. Harry's always the one who gets the glory. It goes back to book one, where Ron sees himself as important and standing out from the rest of his family. I think he's not really mad at Harry as much as he wants to be him. But once he starts the argument, he doesn't want to be the one to apologize. |

Yea, like, what rules? He's not going to burst into flames if he doesn't compete. It's dumb. Exactly. Like what did the goblet out a hex on them if they don’t compete lol that’s just dumb Most of the speculation I've seen is that they would lose their magic or something. I'm assuming it's like Hermione's jinx on the DA paper. There's a failsafe if the terms of the contract aren't met. |

Of course, I wasn't a real fan of the Ron/Hermione endgame. Simply because I think their personalities clash too much. |
