I do miss my pure joy of the series, before realizing how shitty Dumbledore was, and Rowling. Childhood was such a simpler time (I am ignoring the fact that I was in my 20s before the 7th book was out) |

I forget—did we ever find out that Dumbledore actually orchestrating Harry being put in the Cup? That seems like a thing he'd do. It was all Fake Moody, per the book. But I'm sure he was somewhat aware that there was a plot. |

Yes I understand why a lot of you hate him lol. I just see him more on the grey area than all bad. I don't think he's all bad. I think he genuinely felt this is what he had to do in order to get rid of Voldemort and felt it was all worth the risk. I don't think he's evil, but I do think he's cold, abusive, and sees people as tools. Agreed. I just dislike the hero worship that never really goes away for the main characters. Like, there were way better characters for Harry to name his kid after. Poor Albus Severus. |

Agreed. I just dislike the hero worship that never really goes away for the main characters. Like, there were way better characters for Harry to name his kid after. Poor Albus Severus. Now, fucking Snape I do think was actually a sociopath. He literally only became not a Nazi because they killed the woman he nice guy'd all over. He was gross. Right. Snape is the absolute worst. |

Neville gets overlooked in the books a lot because he's not one of Harry's best friends, but he goes through so much and is such a strong person. I love his transformation and who he is at the end of Deathly Hallows. It's one reason I like reading fcs about those who stayed behind at Hogwarts. |

<3 Minerva is the only adult in the damn room. "offer him up as bait" well, lady, that's pretty much the whole point of Dumbledore. I wonder how much she knew about everything he was doing, in the end. She does not know his plans. I think that Snape is the only one he confides in because he needs someone else to make sure he gets to the end point. And because he doesn't think Snape will care for Harry enough to try and stop the plan. |
