Full Zumba class, half a body pump class (stupid work interfering with my workouts. Rude.) I’m at that moment where I can’t decide whether I hate how my body looks and feels so much that I want to do something drastic and stupid like a liquid diet for a month. Or if I’m so depressed and defeated that I just want to eat and drink my feelings. Sooooo healthy, right? I feel this so much. Personally, this month I decided to focus on working out consistently and riding the positive that brings. If I focus on the scale and the fit of my jeans (neither have improved) I will spiral and just fall back on bad habits. Which definitely happened this last month. You’re doing great. A few weeks ago you were nervous about getting on your bike. Now you’ve moved past the beginner classes and started challenging yourself.

MH's back is still not good after 5 days. He has a virtual appt with a spine health doctor this afternoon. I really think he needs to stretch more. He stretched his back relatively frequently, but but his hips, legs, other areas, and I'm certain that's a factor. I hope the Dr. tells him to stretch more. Maybe he can take a pilates class at the gym. Why are dudes so against stretching?!

There is a learning curve, but good instructors will help call out adjustments and proper placements.

Wow, have we really not updated since the 16th?
Friday and Saturday both I did Zumba then yoga. Monday I walked 2.5 miles at work. Tuesday I did Zumba and body pump. Today I did 45 minute arms and intervals ride. (Holy hell.)

I've been pulling my almost 50lb kid around in the bike trailer, it's a heck of a workout! Soon I'm going to have her hold the dog in there too for an extra challenge.

My shoulder has really been bothering me the past few days. Today, I just shoveled the driveway and got in 5,000 steps. I'll take some ibuprofen tonight and hope I feel a little better tomorrow so I can get in some better workouts

I brought a pair of 10lb weights to my office area. I’m hoping to take little mental breaks and go through 3-4 lifts.
Sometimes I just need to step away from work and think about what I need to do.
