Yesterday I did the Encanto ride, 10 min arms, and then the Hamilton ride. I felt great, it was such a good workout. Then 2 hrs later my foot started hurting and it's still bothering me today and I'm so very annoyed about it. I didn't feel like I overdid it and the rest of my body feels fine.
I loved the Encanto ride! M did the whole thing with me on her little fisher price bike.

BM works out before work every day at like 6 am. So i tried to do mine at 630 while she got ready so i could be done before she left and the kids get up.
It was rough.
Trying to make the routine happen though.

Ok, just did Christine's low impact ride. I have to say she's my fave instructor hands down. Not all hyped up dancing, just there to bike and release and usually plays more 90's music lol.
I almost didn't do hers today cuz it was low impact, but honestly low impact just means not out of the saddle hard core. It was like a 30 min slog and i was dripping. my output was almost the same as when I did encanto.
Anyway. check that off today.

I walked 2.5 miles at work yesterday, then came home and did a 20 minute low impact ride.
Today I did Zumba and body pump. Upped my weights at body pump finally, so that felt good.

I did my first hour-long ride! I rode 15 miles while listening to a work call lol. So obv not my best effort. But my longest effort!
I also did yoga this morning.

Missed 2 days because of weird timing, but I got back at it this morning with ~45min of Flow and Boxing.
My birthday is Friday and I'm trying to decide how to celebrate without completely going off the sugary deep end.

Alright, BM works from home on Thurs so I did a 30 min arms and intervals before school/work since I didn't have to do all the kid stuff. Check.

I bought my valentines right after Christmas, which I think will be a new tradition of mine. They put them out *so* early so I decided to embrace it.
However, I bought them over a month ago and pulled them out yesterday so J could start signing them, and they come with glowsticks which are like 2" long and super skinny - total pain in the neck. So I should have looked closer at them. I got the sticker ones for M, much better. Encanto & Star Wars in our house!

Leaving to go camping after lunch, so I didn’t have time for Zumba and yoga. Instead did a 30 minute HIIT cycle and upper body class with Cody. It was not a beginner class, but I was able to do all but the last section out of the saddle. 9 miles today.

I did not work out today but I took P to the ski hill and shes just learning so I towed her up about 15 times. That’ll do it. I also fell on the ice yesterday and have some whiplash. Yuck.

Picked up Girl Scout cookies and now I have 11k in steps at noon. I’m just trying to thaw my hands now.

First workout for a week. I took so many covid tests but seems to just have been a cold.
75 minute endurance ride today. I hit a PR in both distance and output and came in 23rd out of 312 riders.

My foot is better so I was back on the bike today, for a 20 minute ride and then 10 min of arms.
Walked a ton yesterday, over 5 miles with various dogs and children.

rhymeswithdisco I'm very impressed at your 75 minute ride. The longest continuous ride I've done is 45 minutes and I barely made it!

I did a lot of 20 and 30 minute rides for about a year. Then moved on to 45 and 60 minute endurance rides. Then my favorite instructor started doing the 75 minute Sunday morning class and I decided to give it a try. They market it as steady state classes so you aren't pushing all out for that long. There are long intervals of moderate to low challenging work. It's just for a long time I'm not and will never be a sprinter - even when I played soccer I was a midfielder and swam distance lengths competitively.

Full Zumba class, half a body pump class (stupid work interfering with my workouts. Rude.) I’m at that moment where I can’t decide whether I hate how my body looks and feels so much that I want to do something drastic and stupid like a liquid diet for a month. Or if I’m so depressed and defeated that I just want to eat and drink my feelings. Sooooo healthy, right?
