Ugh! I did something to my rhomboid muscle yesterday and it is killing me! I was planning on swimming and running on the treadmill again today but it probably isn’t in my best interest so I will take a long walk instead.
Hopefully the PT can get me in.
I have a corn and quinoa salad from TJs for lunch and will make pancakes for dinner. H is going out of town for a football game so it is just me and my youngest 2 at home tonight.

This morning was a 30 minute full body strength with Rad. My body is still not ready for a lot of leg work apparently, so I modified a lot of those pieces. In the end, I probably should have just taken an upper body and core class, but I made it work.

TGIF! What a week! Finally made it back to the gym for full Body Pump + 30 min. cardio. Really off my typical month's goal so I'm going to try and sneak in a workout Sunday. We shall see. B- copy cat egg bites L/D- who the heck knows.
Have a great weekend all, it's going to be a busy one!

I woke up at 3:00 am and somehow convinced myself it was Saturday and was happy to be able to sleep past my alarm....until it went off at 4:00 and I felt so disoriented lol Took a few minutes to actually get up and get going, but pull day went pretty well. I was gearing up for deadlifts, but they felt super heavy today! Went way down in weight and just kept at it and focused on form and position of my hips. I've noticed with my scoliosis I can end up coming back up a bit crooked and trying to stop that. So hard when my spine has other ideas! Other than that everything else was great. Chin ups I increased, over and underhand lat pulls, single arm rows was feeling it, and then paused face pulls to finish it off. I feel thoroughly tired and was seriously starving for most of my workout today. Was so happy to end so I could eat 😁 B: Eggwhite crepe, toast with peanut butter and jam, raspberries L: Chicken, rice, veggies, kiwis, cookie D: Maybe another stirfry with turkey I didn't realize your alarm went off that early too! I thought Rusty Red and I were the only two up at that hour 🤣

Did the preschool walk with DD2 in her very cute pumpkin costume. I am doing a 30 minute Callie upper body bike boot camp and I think that will be it for formal workout, since I am taking DS to meet some coworkers later this morning.

I am sticking to after work workouts pretty much at all times when I return. Not my fave, but I need all the sleep I can get these days.

I’m finishing the boot camp and I got a PR! It’s nice that they changed it so that the PR only competes with other boot camps. It used to be lumped in with other bike rides, I think.

Today is a rest day - walked the girls to school with a neighbor. I'm trying to drink a ton of water today so I can drink tonight without getting a headache. Yesterday I did a great ab class but then my legs were so tired from the week that I only managed a slow elliptical ride? run? session? Food today will be hit or miss since we're seeing friends for dinner. But my soul will be full.
B: Breakfast burrito L: Big salad, apples, peanut butter D: not sure yet

I still did Becs Halloween run as planned but didn’t enjoy it because I kept the volume very low - I could mostly hear her cues but not the music. I was going to do a second run but decided not to with the headphone issue. Oh well, still managed 2.5 miles (although I can never quite keep up with her hill expectations!).

Hiya! I did a 30 minute dog walk, 20 min G/L with Selena (loved the first part, hated the AMRAPs), and 10 minute core with Jess Sims. I weighed myself for the first time in a while and the number is as high as ever- weeee. Trying to not focus on that, and instead focus on the fact that I’ve been crushing workouts and avoiding (too much) Halloween candy.
B- overnight oats with pb, banana L- salad with 2 chicken tenderloins D- coconut shrimp tacos, chips n queso, 2 glasses of wine

When I suspect the incline will be outrageous I tend to only go up a half a percent at a time instead of a full percent. Can't fool me, evil wench!

I admire those of you who are up at 3:30 or 4:00. I wish my body worked that way. I'm an insomniac and generally a later to sleep and later to wake person. If I got up that early I would only get a few hours of sleep every night. Plus, the second I'm up, my kids sense it and are immediately awake too.
Luckily it works pretty well with our schedule for me to work out in the afternoons.

Active rest day for me. I walked for 30 minutes at lunch and did about 10 min of soccer with the big kid before my PARENTS TOOK THEM OVERNIGHT! H and I went out for Greek food for dinner and I brought home cheesecake with crumbled baklava, so food was not the greatest. I did skip drinks though so that I could run tomorrow morning.

I did the outdoor 30 min run with Matt W that was new today. It was perfect because it was conversational pace with no crazy paces. That’s exactly what I needed today. It took me until like the last 8 minutes to find my stride and settle in. I was grueling it out before that.
I also did a 20 min beginner upper body strength with Matty. Music was great so I enjoyed myself a smidge.
Finished with a 10 min stretch with Robin.
I did strength 3 times this week! Huge for me. And I hit 15 pounds lost today!!

It took me until like the last 8 minutes to find my stride and settle in. I was grueling it out before that. I also did a 20 min beginner upper body strength with Matty. Music was great so I enjoyed myself a smidge. Finished with a 10 min stretch with Robin. I did strength 3 times this week! Huge for me. And I hit 15 pounds lost today!! Girl, yes! Get it!

I have tried to force myself to bed early, but going to bed before 9 just doesn’t happen for me. It’s enough to get me through, but by the end of the week I’m loopy lol. Fortunately, my work schedule fluctuates, so it’s not all the time for me!

Everything went really, really well tonight. Good thing it was accessory night or I would have struggled to refrain from loading PRs. The walkout and control down on my pin squats felt better than they have. SSB was back up where it was before I started having issues with it.
Well everything was good except when I birthed my cup mid set. That was less than good.
