Did 5k for rowing yesterday and I’m feeling it today.
I plan on walking a mile and helping wash the cars. Maybe some stretches.

Jogged just over a mile in the open field across the street this morning. Took the dog off leash so she could burn some energy.
I'm going to try and do 30-45 min of activity a day for the next 2 weeks to try and tone up a bit. The jog only took 20 min, so I guess I'll find some resistance work to do later today

I did it! I did the muscle conditioning class! I mean, I had to use 2.5 and 5 lb weights and I used to do 7.5 and 10. But still. It’s a start! Now let’s see how sore I am tomorrow lol.

Yesterday I walked 2 miles at lunch but could only manage 10 flights of stairs Bc I was stiff and exhausted from muscle conditioning. Plus it was insanely hot and I was very sweaty and gross and had to go back to work oops.
Woke up early today for 7am yoga. Glad I went, but my neck is killing me today.

Peloton arrived today! No more excuses for me to not get my ass in gear. Tomorrow I will ride.

Played badminton last night with my husband.
Also did a 30 minute walk. It was gorgeous out yesterday. I’m going to repeat this today.

Yesterday I walked 2.5 miles and did 20 flights of stairs. Then came home and did some Toning exercises in the pool.
Today I went to Zumba. Burned like 400 calories in less than an hour and had so much fun. I haven’t been since pre-Covid so it was fun to be back.

I did a 20 minute beginners ride today. My butt though! Gosh it was so uncomfortable. It got better as the ride went on but still. Ouch! I forgot how uncomfortable bike seats are. I also walked the dog about 1.5 miles.

I also walked the dog about 1.5 miles. You will get more used to it as time goes on. But it will get worse before it gets better. I don’t know if peloton offers an upgraded seat but I know some bikes do. And there are also padded bike shorts. That is honestly my biggest concern with getting a bike lol.

I did move the padded gel seat cover from our old bike to the peloton, which helped ever so slightly. I need padded shorts too! And numbing cream.

I've been alternating between 1mi jogs with the dog in a field, and body weight resistance/strength exercises.
I took a break yesterday, so today I'll get in a jog before it gets too hot. Maybe some yoga or stretching later

Yesterday I went to yoga and did a little bit of toning in the pool. I was kind of sore though so I didn’t do a ton. Goal today is to walk another 2.5 miles, at least 20 flights of stairs, and I probably need to do either squats or clamshells or both. I really need to start adding on ab exercises. But ugh.

Mile jog in the field done. I prefer field jogs because they're more dynamic than just flat sidewalk/road. Plus, we have a huge hill that was created during construction years ago, so part of my path is to climb the hill, which obviously sucks, but it adds some cool resistance into the route.
And since Loren went with me, hopefully she won't be an antsy pest all day (she gets to run off leash with me, so I'm sure she does way more than a mile with all her zigzagging around) 😂

I got up at 545 and walked for an hour and a half with my friend (while hungover AF, might I add), then did another long walk tonight with the dog and came home and did a short ride on the bike. Not too bad for feeling like shit all day. Drinking wine out of cans is a bad idea that I will not be repeating.

I didn’t. 🙈 I’m sort of barely hanging there mentally right now and I know that exercise would make me feel better. But it also makes exercising feel like such a big/insurmountable task. Bleh.

I’m so sorry charlotte. I don’t mean to pressure you. Maybe you and yh could just walk around for a little bit and connect and vent after the sun is down and the kids are in bed. Try to hold hands. That non-sexual physical touch can and fresh air is good for the soul. If not, maybe a couch and a movie and a glass of wine will do the trick. Hugs friend.

Thank you, tj! I’m going to try to book a babysitter for next weekend so MH & I can go on a date. We’re going swimming this weekend so I’ll get some movement then. I’m def in one of those spirals where I feel bummed and yet continue to make choices that only continue to make me feel blah (not exercising, eating junk, etc).

I just set my alarm for 0600 tomorrow, Tues, and Fri. I need to start getting up early and either go for a real walk or do a walk at home video. ETA: as I was typing that, a group of teens/college students just went by on their electric scooters. I wanted to yell at them to move their bodies before age and adulting make it so much harder! *shaking my cane*

Yesterday we swam.
Today I walked 2 miles with DS2 in the stroller, and we are going swimming again later. It’s so fricking hot here!

I didn’t work out Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Oops! But we went camping and I managed to eat really smartly. So I’m proud of that at least.
I did yoga this morning, and plan to do some leg lifts and clam shells and stuff for my hips later. Really need to start some sort of ab plan…

You all got back into my head again! I spontaneously woke up at 0545 for no reason this morning so I pulled myself together to go out for a 25 minute walk. I kept up a decent pace and need to remember my pedometer next time to challenge myself. I'm already veering from my plan to exercise Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays 😂

Our neighbor has one right next to his window, and every morning when I'm outside in my pajamas looking foul I can see him sweating it out on the peloton.

I went to the gym this morning, but it was closed Bc a truck drove into the electrical system and there was no electricity for a square mile. I almost went back home, but instead I walked the 3 mile loop around the gym. It was actually really great and I wish I could get 3 miles in at work instead of only 2.25.
