Case closed on my maternity clothes. My H went up to look and was like are they in the big blue tub labeled Maternity clothes on all sides? In my defense, the tub was misplaced in my holiday decorating section. I'm clearly not paying attention to any details.

Someone needs to teach me how to grocery shop. I rarely get out without spending $150 or more... every week. I am bad about impulse buying.
Half the time I can't figure out how I spent so much.

I'm thinking of paying for some sort of service for grocery shopping. I have to figure something out

We do Peapod. I'd say that the $10 delivery fee is definitely worth the convenience and is probably offset by not impulse buying three different flavors of triscuits.

He's 2.5 so on the older end. We'll get there we just def need I break, I was pushing too hard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk DS1 was 3 and 3 weeks when we trained! DS2 will be 2 months shy of 3 when we kick it off and I'm only doing it because his little pre preschool is starting. DS1 was ready but I think DS2 will be much harder. I totally bought into that book except for the 3 is too late thing. I don't have personal experience yet, but I think that's dumb of the book to say 3 is "too late." I think it totally depends on the child. Some are ready to PT at 2, and some are definitely not. My best friend waited until her son was 3 months and change and it was easy because he was finally ready and wanted to do it. No sense fighting a huge battle if they just aren't there yet IMO.

My impulse shopping is curbed (but not eliminated) by having a meal plan and a grocery list, but I admit I've gotten really lazy and haven't really done that in awhile.
We also have a deep freezer and a Food Saver machine, so we have the capacity to buy things in bulk when they are on sale. A few weeks ago Kroger had ground beef on sale for $2.98 a pound but you had to buy a 3 pound package. I bought three and brought them home, divided them up and put them out in the freezer.
Reminder for those potty training for the first child... Don't be alarmed (or surprised) if your child starts having accidents when the new baby arrives. This happened to several of my friends because of the change in routine and the older child adjusting to not being the center of attention. I did it myself when my younger sister was born...
