March started off okay but I got sick half way through and stayed sick for just over two weeks. I did get in a 45 min outdoor run with Becs where told the story of the first female to run the Boston marathon. Yes, I cried. So back at it for another month. Volleyball next weekend for the first time in over a year 😬. I cried running that one, too. She did such a good job of telling the tale. And I was OUTRAGED at the race directors actions and words, which was good running fuel!

No workouts on Thursday or Friday as I was dragging (work woes - again) but did meditations both nights. It was windy this morning (and I’m really tired of the almost every other day gusts, ok?) but I got out there and did a 20 min Walk/Run with Andy. It was 10 minutes of running sandwiched between 5 minute blocks of running and given I haven’t run much at for almost 3 months, I was about 10 minutes of non-stop of running which was totally silly as I did just fine. It helped that I did a pre-run warmup with Adrian beforehand. I did a post-run stretch with Becs then knocked out the rest of my stack: 5 min “burnt toast” core with Andy (those hollow rocks were so deceptively easy appearing 10 min G/L with Adrian - lol at him mentioning “baby making music” and also - yes, give me all the squats and deadlifts 10 min Side Booty Blogilates 5 min Full Body Stretch with Olivia Hope everyone has a great day!

10 min warmup run with Matty 20 min advanced intervals run with Matty (3.6 mi total) 10 min core with Selena 10 min G&L with Adrian 20 min G&L with Robin Ah that class with Adrian is perfect! Goblet squats and deadlifts all day, please. I think I’m going to add that Adrian class in weekly on leg days for fun🙃

10 min warm up run with Adrian 30 min tread core bootcamp with Jess 30 min tread full body bootcamp with Jess
I couldn’t find an old Saturday 60 that I wanted to do so I did 2 30s that looked fun. I’ve been avoiding bootcamps all together since Jess has been gone. Woof. Poor choice on my part. Noted.
That warm up run (1/19/21) is my absolute favorite. 10/10 recommend. His message and the drills are perfect.
I need to do 10 min core and I’ll be done for the day!

Today was MH’s first day doing what I’ve programmed for him and he just told me he feels really good and not completely gassed as he normally would on a Saturday. We might be on to something, folks!

I was sleepy this morning but got my run out of the way. 30 min recovery run with Becs for 3 miles.
I have an outdoor brunch with family later this morning and then some poolside drinking and lounging with women in my neighborhood in the afternoon. I plan to squeeze in today's HCOTF stack in between. 🤞

Finishing up spring break. We spent last night at my in-laws, so H, FIL and I went for a 4-mile run this morning. FIL is 76 and coming off an Achilles injury, so the pace was about 2 mins/mile slower than I’m used to and made my gait weird. Hopefully it’s just a temporary tweak. I’m thankful we’re all still able to run together! Damn, I want to be a runner when I’m 76! Same. There's a woman in the CNY triathlon circuit that's in her late seventies. I've seen her at my fair share of races out on the course.

Started my morning with my 7 mile long run. I was incredibly consistent in my pacing, and despite really tired legs I felt very in control the whole time. It’s also my longest consecutive running distance, an extra .75 over what I’ve ever run previously.
Food hasn’t been ideal, but it’s tracked. Hopefully I’ll have a better afternoon/evening.

Happy birthday cnf. Day 2 of Mastering the basics. 20 minute low impact ride with Emma. I'm going to do at least two weeks of this program and then maybe venture into other rides. One of our friends has had his bike for a little over a year and he's training for some sort of hundred mile ride I think. He said it was going to take him about 6 hours 😮

Hello! Happy Saturday!!
Today’s been a pretty good day. I had a 90 minute massage this morning (OMG I’ve missed this! My neck feels so much better.), ran a few errands, and finished with a 45 minute New Wave ride with CDE. She’s growing on me!
Tomorrow my goal is to get more strength in. I had planned on it today but well, massage won. Next week looks insane so it might be tomorrow or never!

I felt much better after a nap and shower so we went for a walk because it’s beautiful outside. I have had a minor headache on and off still but nothing different than any other day lol. We will probably do another walk soon.
I’m looking forward to getting back at it though. Not sure if I’ll have time tomorrow because we are hosting Easter but Monday for sure.

Hey hey hey!
I finally got around to the Brandy and Monica Verzuz ride today, the music was all lost on me (was not my thing in the 90s) but Cody and Emma talking about middle school awkwardness was what I was there for anyway! 10 minute arms toning with Leanne 10 minute core with Matty 10 minute arms with Andy 20 minute chest and back with Adrian
Oh my god, Andy made some joke about the tension in the room when someone farts to try to get us to create more tension on the last move and it made me laugh SO HARD I could hardly hold the weight.

Yesterday wasn't a great workout day. I went to workout with a friend for a change of scenery. It didn't help my lifts much, but she got in a much needed good lifting session, so it was a win.
Today went so, so much better than I anticipated. Yeah, I tried to dump the bar on my face during my first work set (if you have my IG, don't ask me to ever make that sound again because that is pure fear of having 300 lbs hit me in the face), but by the end I got my set up issues worked out and my last set was stupid easy.

Today got away from me so I didn’t get a workout in until after the kids bedtime so I just did a 15 min HIIT ride with Cody. It was good!

AM 5 min warm up run with Matty 30 min WHM run with Matt 10 min cooldown run with Jess K 5 min post-run stretch with Becs PM 10 min upper body strength with Ben 10 min core with Jess S 5 min upper body stretch with Ben
I struggled on my run today and was just not feeling the energy I normally have but I really enjoyed listening to Wilpers talk about the different significant women coaches and it was a good playlist. I know not everyone loves him but I really enjoy his classes. Yesterday he posted a photo on IG from a trail that's a few miles from me that's one of my favorite hikes and now I'm curious why he's here. It seems a lot of them are on vacation this week.

Happy birthday cnf!! March wasn’t bad for me. The scale went up and down throughout the month but I ended basically exactly where I started. But I did lose almost 3 inches overall, my clothes fit fine, I increased my dumbbell weight in my strength workouts, and I’m noticing some muscles popping up that didn’t use to be there 💪🏻 I ate okay, I stayed consistent with workouts and tried to be more active overall. I’d like the see the scale go down just for my own vanity, but I’m working to reach the point of being okay with where I am and focusing on other positives besides the number on the scale. My goals are basically the same for April. I’ll join the “I’d like to not eat like an asshole” group and stay consistent with working out (I’ve mostly been following the HCOTF calendar, tweaking it a bit). Today stack: 10 min core w/ Matty 10 min arms w/ Leanne 20 min chest & back w/ Adrian 15 min HIIT w/ Selena

Question: for those of you using a Sunny spin bike (or similar), does yours have a belt or chain? I’m not sure which option to choose when I’m looking at these on Amazon.
