newspapers , my brain added an extra zero to those step numbers and I was like 😳😳😳 🤣 Ha! I wonder if that's actually possible (it probably is, but I certainly wouldn't want to try). ~2k steps in a mile, so 65-75 miles...I guess those ultra marathoners probably do it, but it’s definitely not for me.

Fucking finally had things go right. Bench wasn't great, so I dropped the weight a little and focused on my problem area. Deadlifts went great.

30 minute 80s ride with Bradley (he is super awkward but I think I like it? I do laugh a lot) 10 minute core with Matt Wilpers 10 (15?) minute HIIT cardio with Matty (OMG hated this, he's evil (love him)) 20 minute full body strength with Jess
I am really ready for an active recovery day tomorrow!!
Anyone know more about what is going on with Jess today? She hasn't been on social media.
Live DJ ride with Cody and DJ John Michael on Friday sounds really fun!

Ha! My highest step count day was like just shy of 60k steps. I had run a full marathon, so yeah, sounds about right.

I opted to sleep in this morning instead of running. No regrets. I brought my running stuff to work so I plan on running at lunch. It's cold enough (grrr) that I won't become a sweaty mess.
My goal today is to keep my food in check. I've been partaking of WAY too many cookies and pb cups in the breakroom the last couple of days. I had hardboiled eggs for breakfast, a superhero muffin for a pre-run snack, penne with pesto for lunch, and I'm planning on making cashew chicken stir fry for dinner tonight.
I really need to get a meal plan together for next week though. This winging it isn't working for me.

30 minute pop walk with Andy this morning. I'm still not pushing the pace, but it's good to be doing something. Even better to be doing something and nothing feels worse afterward.
I've also been doing foam rolling with Hannah at night. It's become a nice way to wind down from the day.

Yesterday was a rest day. Today, I did 3 very easy miles on the tread this morning. I did walk/run intervals with Wilpers for most of it. That will be it for today.

Rusty Red I just went back to my gym this week for the first time. I was nervous, but it is an LA Fitness so it is massive, and they appear to have strict mask compliance. I didn't see anyone without a mask or wearing one inappropriately. Of course people were temporarily removing them to drink water or wipe sweat or whatever but that is all. I felt pretty comfortable because there were hand sanitizer stations everywhere and I was in the personal training area with just my trainer and no one else, though. I can't say how it feels to do cardio in a mask because I only do lifting with him. I ended up not going because they don't require masks when you are actually working out. I'm not comfortable with that. So unfortunately I wasted my money on one month, but at least it wasn't a contract. Should have checked the policy before I joined, I know better.

The company I hired came out and hauled off the broken incline trainer today. Highly HIGHLY recommend 1-800-GOT-JUNK if you ever need something hauled away. I got a next day appt, and only had to pay the min rate for a treadmill. They were super fast and friendly. So now I wait on the call to set up delivery of the new, hopefully soon. I'm not loving running outside, especially in sub freezing temps this morning. I also had a severe allergy attack after doing it yesterday, but I did get both runs done, albeit slower than usual.

Rusty Red, we used them once to haul a bunch of stuff out of our old house. They were great to work with and I remember that the guy doing the work had the theme from 'Sanford and Son' playing as his ringtone on his phone 😃. The thing must have gone off a half a dozen times. 20 minutes 70's pop ride with Jenn today. I think tomorrow I'm going to do some full body strength.

I was supposed to wake up early for a run (one of my only kid-free mornings this week to fit it in) and was too in a fog to get out of bed. Another rough Sad Girl Day over here.

Hello! I felt pretty good this morning so I had a really good leg day. Trying to prep my meals for the weekend, and I know what I want today is not what I will want all weekend. So far I was pistachio pudding and pasta salad. 🥴

Didn't get a chance to post yesterday.
I did the HCOTF stack minus the HIIT and added a 30 min. classic rock ride with Wilpers.
Food was okayish - healthy for breakfast and dinner, but went out to lunch to celebrate a friend's good news and had a burger and some beers (I took off work!), so not my usual healthy Wednesday.
Today I skipped the recovery day (I will be leaving for Pittsburgh early on Saturday and won't get to work out Sat/Sun) and did the 20 min glutes/legs with Robin, 10 min glutes/legs with Andy, 10 min core with Becs, and 20 min 80s ride with Sam. Tomorrow I will do the arms stack and at least I'll have gotten in most of the strength days this week.
B - English muffin, turkey bacon, fruit L - leftover pulled pork on a low carb wrap D - chicken salads S - ?
I'm starting to struggle/get anxious about food now that more social events are popping up and I want to partake in all of them, yet keep losing weight. The eternal struggle, loll.

They were talking about like 20+ hours and I was like wow, cannot relate lol. i love it for them.

I was feeling good today so I attempted a run and managed to complete a 5K with only a few walk breaks. My third mile (albeit mostly downhill) was 10:24, nearly 90 seconds faster than I’ve typically been running post-injury. I was very happy with it. My PT thinks (as did my friend PT who helped me initially) that my injury is tied to back and hip weakness, so he has me doing strengthening stuff daily to work on it.
10 minute warm up run with Wilpers 30 minute WHM run with Wilpers 10 minute core with Emma (week 3 day 3 of Crush your Core) PT hip strength exercises 5 minute lower body stretch with Ben

When I planned my lunchtime run today, I packed my running stuff according to the weather forecast which was 45 degrees and partly sunny. So capris, a short sleeve shirt, and a pullover. Stupid me didn't take into account windchill, which was 34 degrees, or the actual wind, which was 16 mph. Thank goodness for the pullover, the only really cold part of me was my ears, which are now aching like crazy from the wind/cold. I really wish I would have had my headband.

beerlover it doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing. You can go out to eat with friends and still make choices that feel good. Sometimes that’s a burger and beer, sometimes that might be a salad with chicken and a wine spritzer. Go out, enjoy, and KOKO. If your diet doesn’t fit your life then it won’t be sustainable. Any weight lost will reappear when you go back to your normal life.

Hello! Had a pretty decent workout today, burst training. Had to do some modifications due to my hip because they had some exercises that were done on each leg and it just didn’t feel good. Hoping my energy levels stay up so I can sit on my butt the rest of the day studying for an exam. I also bought some of that Dolly Parton Ice cream from Jeni’s and it should arrive today so I can’t wait for snack time tonight! Please report back on that ice cream. I almost bought some and had it sent here, but I have several pints of Jeni's still in the fridge, so I didn't. I'm so curious! It’s here. It’s SO good. The perfect blend of salty, sweet, and creamy.

My stomach has not been feeling so hot today, which apparently can be a side effect of the cortisoid shot. On the plus side, my hip is already feeling a lot better— not 100 percent, but a huge improvement, overnight.
I’m taking it easy today, so I did an easy 5k+ to an old beginners intervals run with Matty, and some stretching. I’ll probably do some yoga with DD later too.

4 miles this morning, and then pfizer dose 2 - my arm is less sore from the get go than last time, so hoping I feel OK. H got his yesterday and is needing to take it easy today. DD's school had "walk/bike/roll" to school for Earth Day, so I will probably go pick her up on bikes this afternoon, and also take the toddler to watch the construction site nearby. Maybe some stretching if I'm feeling good.

I did not work out today. I had a mammogram this morning so I'm going to just count that as my healthy thing for the day, lol. Good Lord HATE.
Anyway I just had to share that Cody totally got in my head. After the ride I did yesterday he said something about listening to Paula Abdul's Opposite Attract and that someone needs to talk to her about not settling for someone. It came on the radio today and I wad dying laughing. So thanks for the entertainment two days in a row Cody. I have to come here to share this story because no one I know IRL knows Cody, lol.

They were talking about like 20+ hours and I was like wow, cannot relate lol. i love it for them. My particular garmin watch is Ironman friendly, meaning it's built to run in a sport mode using GPS for 20+ hours so that you can, in theory, complete a 17 hour man and not have it die on you before or after you've finished.

Hi.
I did not workout.
I ate crap all day.
I'm unhappy with my body and unmotivated to do much about it. I workout because I love the way it feels, but beyond that I can't seem to find the fire to get my shit together. And it makes me feel bad because I hate how heavy I am and that none of my clothes fit. I'm in a vicious cycle and it's really dragging down my mood.
Pity party, party of me.

cnf, stuff is hard right now! And you have three kids, including an infant! Please be kind to yourself. Is there any way to just focus solely on something that will make you feel better about yourself, (eg, finding time to run or do yoga or something else everyday, or maybe to eat a certain amount of fruits and vegetables) and less on doing it all? Cause you have A LOT on your plate, and it seems like simpler goals might help for setting yourself up to succeed.

cnf I'm sorry. I had long-undiagnosed PPD following my first kid, and even though I was aware of it with my second, I was not in a place to get back to myself until he was 15 months old, about 3 months after I weaned him. Don't be too hard on yourself, you're still deep in the thick of postpartum hormones AND this is the shittiest year ever to be a teacher. Toss in a healthy dose of sleep deprivation, and you're killing it by just getting through the day. I know it doesn't help those other feelings right now, but you'll get yourself back again.
