I think I'm going to go back to my old eating times. I don't dig adding the snack during the day enough and it usually means losing my night treat. What was different about it that didn’t work? How goes the search for a treatment program? It feels like you’re adding more and more stuff (or taking away in the case of food) and it’s all just causing so much stress. I’m going to keep saying this in the hopes that one day you’ll believe me: it doesn’t have to be like this, Rusty. There’s so much more to life than a number on the scale.

The Woodway tread is the closest to the Peloton one and it does not have a guard either, but it’s more for commercial use so there are no children or pets around it for accidents like this to happen. People are not fully aware of everything that can go wrong with such a powerful machine like the tread +, and while users have to be responsible too, it still needs better safety features and fast. The comments in the groups complaining about the stock price tumbling are gross. The stock has been going down well before any of this attention, basically since vaccines became more available.

I keep wondering if she had covid and so the stamina isn’t back yet. That’s what I’ve been thinking too. Which could explain why they aren’t saying anything so it doesn’t look like they have an outbreak there after Cody had it too. Injury also would’ve made sense but that doesn’t really add up with today’s issues since people were saying she was super pale and really seemed to be struggling. I totally respect her wanting her privacy if she does have/had covid but it is very strange the way it is all going down. Cody was super up front about it so maybe it just seems more odd that she isn’t. It could be something else but covid just seems the most obvious answer.

I hit my 20 week streak today. 🎉 I saw that 4 of us were online at the same time tonight which was a first for me.
30 min dance music ride with Ben (not sure how this differs from EDM) 5 min cool down with Ben 10 min lower body stretch with Selena

I woke up at 3 AM am couldn’t fall back to sleep. I finally got up at 4:30 and went to CF. I was home by 6:15 and have been sitting in silence and drinking my coffee while scrolling Instagram for the last 45 minutes, so that was at least nice start to my day.
Yesterday I woke up at 4 and couldn’t go back to sleep which meant I was a total zombie at work and didn’t get anything accomplished. Now I’m on day 2 of not enough sleep, so today will be interesting I’m sure. I’m the type of person who NEEDS my beauty rest. 😂

I did not work out yesterday. I did not run this morning. There is rain forecasted all day again and since BIL is in town everything i had planned is out the window. cnf, how did you like the white stripes run? I have it in my stack for this week. Food: Egg muffins Banana / orange Homemade chef salad with ranch Dinner to be determined. I am really hoping that there is no rain at 3:30 so I can fit in a quick 20 min run after work.

I did not get to my yoga last night. I'm so over doing bedtime alone with three needy kids all week. It's an hour plus of musical bedrooms trying to get them all to get in their bed and GTF to sleep. I got into bed significantly later than I wanted too, even without the yoga. I need it to be mid May when H takes his paternity leave. All three were up in the middle of the night and I'm so fricken tired. I seriously feel like crying I'm up so much all night long. I need a real night of sleep. I haven't slept through the night since getting pregnant in December 2019 now and I cannot manage anymore. I'm dying.
I have a 30 minute bootcamp and my rolled over strength from yesterday on deck for this evening. Hopefully I can get through all of it. Ugh.

Back in the saddle today. My hip/IT band have been super stiff for months, and regular yoga is basically the only thing that helps. I have to be good about getting the kids to bed by 9 and then having 9-10 be workout and shower time for mom.
In other news, my kids had their physicals last night and the doc was like, yeah, the pandemic's been really hard on all of us, but now they're off the charts in terms of weight (or almost) and you need to address it. Whee. I guess this means I have to get serious about myself, right? Lol. I might start using meal kits again to make sure there is something healthy for dinner that my older kid can even help cook.

Good morning! Workout is done.
10 min core with Matty 10 min chest & back with Ben 20 min arms and shoulders with Selena
I really liked the upper body workouts. I’m not a fan of plank/push-up work because it really flares up my scapula issues, so these were great. I’ll try to go for a walk later too.
B- ? Something involving strawberries and bananas L- leftover egg roll in a bowl D- chicken/poblano fajitas

Tenth ride today. I did a 20 minute rock ride with Olivia. I really need to start paying more attention to the difficulty ratings on these rides. I picked this one because of the music playlist and didn't realize it was an 8.2. I really need to stay in the 6/7 range right now. I vote for taking the class anyway and modifying to your level. I hide the leaderboard most of the time anyway. If you think the playlist is fun, don’t let the rating discourage you! I modify all the time on rides that are not listed at beginner or low impact. I don't leave the saddle except to give my butt a break when it needs to and adjust the resistance accordingly.

cnf, does your H work nights? Because if he doesn't than he needs to start getting up as well - oh wait are you breast feeding? Because again, if you are using bottles, dude can feed the baby as well. You should not be taking it all on. You work during the day just like him. I think you need to tap out for a night and let him handle.

But we're all making minor adjustments. It's so hard not to snack constantly when we're home all the time, so I'm trying to pick healthier, whole foods. And the weather helps encourage more activity.

Lifting last night was a mess. At least I didn't get totally buried, but I was struggling with squats again. Can't hit depth, working sets were 30 lbs under where I had planned. Awesome.

I had a physical yesterday and missed breakfast for fasting bloodwork, but food was good the rest of the day. Until dessert but shh.
Did a 20min HIIT ride with Tunde, and ouch. I wasn't ready for the 8+, but I got it done (with modifications) and got a PR. Also got in 15min of core and my PT exercises, and 10min yoga flow with Chelsea Jackson Roberts. I was totally gassed by the end of the yoga; I think the blood draw took more out of me than I expected. Today might be an active recovery day, we'll see how I feel this afternoon.

And that takes so much energy from me that I feel has been in short supply this entire year, and I am certainly less mobile now with fifty extra lbs (on top of the thirty five I already had). But, hopefully a better diet on my end will give me more of that energy. Solidarity!

cnf, I have zero advice, but I just wanted to say that I am sorry you are struggling so much with sleep. It is so hard. I do hope that somehow your H can find a way to get up and allow you some of that much needed extra rest. Hang in there.

Today was upper body plus a core finisher. It was so so so tough!! So much shoulder work. Woof. I hope I can lift my arms later.
I need to start being more diligent about my meals, so I think I will start posting them here for accountability. Here is what I have planned so far for today:
B: Daily harvest smoothie + protein powder S: Babybel cheese L: no idea yet. Maybe something super easy like scrambled eggs and toast with some sort of veggie S: Built Bar D: Oven chicken fajitas, air fryer asparagus, refried beans

I think you need to tap out for a night and let him handle. I think I remember reading before that cnf and cnf's H work opposite schedules. cnf, I am so sorry. Sleep deprivation is the absolute worst. You've been doing this for so long and you need a break. I concur that I would get a hotel room for the weekend and do nothing but sleep. If your H works weekends can you enlist family to help? I hear and see your frustration and I'm just so sorry.
