I reread the first 2 books in the Shadow and Bone trilogy and now I'm starting The 3rd book. I don't think I ever read past the first 1-2 books. I'm really excited for the show next week! Also working on Girl A and The Unhoneymooners, both are hard copies from the library and I've had for weeks but they keep getting pushed back because I have others to read. I also have A Curse so Dark and Lonely ebook checked out. It's kind of a beauty and the beast retelling. It's decent so far. I think I have several ebook holds that came in too so I need to get through these all so I can get those. I think I have the first one on hold through Overdrive of the Shadow and Bone series. It has been such a long hold I can't remember for sure. LOL

Iβm reading Into the Wild and Evicted.
Interesting but really not lighthearted which I probably will do after I finish these.

I just finished Ask Again, Yes on audiobook, and it was so so good. I love books that span decades and cover a character's entire life.

I finished The Boy from the Woods yesterday and I like it right up until the last sentence. Started on Ps I Love you for the week. Ooh that makes me wonder what the last sentence was! Lol

I sped through Bridgerton books 5&6 over the past few days. Things have been rough this week because we had to put our cat to sleep and they were exactly what I needed to be reading. I have been reading nothing but regency romance the last few books and am going to continue that streak for a bit. I feel this right now

I am liking Winter Garden so far. I started Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine on Audible and I think Iβm probably going to end up being meh. I know there were mixed reviews here. I didnβt love the first half but I did really enjoy it at the end.

I've got 2 audiobooks going, Caste by Isabel Wilkerson and when I need a break from that City of Ashes. I haven't picked up Act Your Age Eve Brown yet so I would like to get that read this weekend as well as Justine, which was recommended here.

I finished The Worst Best Man and enjoyed it. After that I read The End of Her by Shari Lapena and loved it. A good thriller with some nice twists. I think The Hating Game is next for me.

Iβm so glad to see more people enjoying The Worst Best Man! I was so surprised that it wasnβt rated higher just based on the ratings of what I would consider very similar books.

I just finished The Night Swim. It was a really good, twisty story.
TW: It deals with sexual assault/rape of teenagers. Hard to read but I think the author did a good job bringing to light the struggles victims have in finding justice.

This past week I read Josh and Hazel's Guide to Not Dating. I found Hazel really irritating and felt the story dragged. It was ok, I guess, but not great. I also read Dear Edward which was great! It was sad for sure but also hopeful and a definite thinker. I really enjoyed it and has someone mentioned before, it will stick with me. I'm onto The Worst Best Man. So far so good. I feel like Iβm the only one who was βmehβ about Dear Edward. Am i broken? Iβm sorry, but yes. I like you despite your brokenness, though!

I just finished The House In The Cerulean Sea - it was lovely! I enjoyed the story, but I thought the character development and growth were fantastic. It left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

The Dry was just okay for me, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought. I started The Bone Garden last night and am enjoying it.

I'm having a hard time getting into, "The Rose Code" by Kate Quinn. I have only read about 15% of the book, so I'm not giving up yet, but I expected to find it more interesting right away. I really enjoyed, "The Alice Network," and thought "The Huntress," was decent. I felt the same. It does pick up a bit but I was a little disappointed overall.

I recently finished the last two books in Ms. Peregrines Peculiar Children series. I felt like there was a bit more meandering than necessary but the story was wrapped up nicely.
I also finished the Invention of Wings and I really liked it. I did not realize it was historical fiction. It made the story that much better in my mind.
Iβm halfway through All the Bright Places right now and itβs ok. I just want to be done with it already and find out how they end up happily ever after.

I just started Boyfriend Material and so far I'm a fan. I am resting my head now but plan to spend the rest of the day reading. Ooo, I have nothing to read so I might reread this one. I loved this book. So cute!

Code Name Verity sent me on a WWII kick and I reread All the Light We Cannot see, and now I'm finishing up They Went Left. I also went through Rose Under Fire (sequel to CNV) in a day.

All The Light We Cannot See was a fav of the last few years. The complexity of that book just blew me away. I love to write but canβt even imagine putting all those pieces together to create that book. It won a Pulitzer (I believe??)...I can see why.

I listened to it and that helped me a lot!

I finished Children of Chicago, which was a really good crime procedural with a supernatural aspect. It was so so so good!
