I know it’s early for most of you, but I need to vent. It is highly likely new travel rules will be enforced in Norway. Meaning my sister probably won’t be able to come. I stupidly got my hopes up. I’m just... sad and tired.

I'm shocked they still don't have any sort of digital passport in the US to prove you have the vaccine and think its a major oversight that will take a ton of time to correct in the future. I'm imaging it won't be far down the road before it's required for different travel activities yet they've been treating it like the 1980s and just giving you a little card which can easily get lost or be forged.

inthekitty, is there a record anywhere of people who got vaccinated? Because it doesn't seem like there is. We are just sent with this flimsy paper that anyone with a computer could forge.

I have to see a hematologist today due to my anemia. The iron pills really kill my stomach so I need infusions. I'm a bit nervous but I am sure it will be fine. That's all the excitement for me today.

wedding I think mine was put in my military medical record, but it's not in my civilian medical record. I'm pretty sure my mom's family just got the flimsy card and no other documented proof. No universal database. It's going to eventually result in a shitshow.

Because I got the vaccine at my job, which has my record at the medical group I go to for primary care, it’s documented in mychart. I also have the little card. I guess I should take a pic of the card and save it in my files just in case. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Mine is recorded in my medical records since I was vaccinated at my hospital.

Morning. I ordered new barstools from a local furniture store and wanted to pick them up after dropping S off, but they don’t open till 11. That is seriously the most annoying thing, everywhere should open at 9 or 10. It’s supposed to get to 72 here today!! So we will be spending lots of time outside. Other than that I just have to work tonight.

I don't have my extra kids like I was supposed to. Their mom got called off work. So I got M off to school and made the rest of us eggs for breakfast. Then discovered we are out of water. I have a load coming today and another later this week. Glad all my laundry is done. But I need a shower...

68 is the high here today! I'm so excited! It was 60 yesterday and we rode all over on the golfcart. I missed sun and fresh air so much!

I took my car for a wash right after drop off so I'm already off to a good start.  I've got to get together a list for Easter baskets, book a couple campgrounds and make an appointment for Botox, I kinda love when work is a bit slower, I just feel productive overall.

I'm at the office. Today is picture day for M so she asked to wash her hair this morning in order to dry & straighten it. Then she asked if we could do this every day.

I got called that they had vaccin surplus and that if I could get there within half a hour I could get the shot. So one down one to go. I got the moderna, anything I should be aware of side effect wise? I mean I can read it online but I’m always up for personal experience.

Morning! Trying to get everything done for the idiot taking my job. I'm copying a guy from our corporate office on emails from every supplier with notes, so that when he fails, someone else has some clue. I don't know why I care so much...

H is home sick again. He went back to the urgent care who did the Covid test Friday and saw the dr, who told him there is a bad cold going around, causing similar symptoms, and prescribed him steroids and flonase. Hopefully that makes him feel better and he can go back to work tomorrow. I really want Thursday and Friday to myself!

So glad to hear of more of us getting the vaccine/appointments for it. I feel like we are finally starting to turn the corner. We still don’t know much about what’s around that corner, but maybe it won’t be as bad as this last year.

I don’t think I told y’all, but I signed up for a 3-6 month google IT course. All online and cheap, do at your own pace. Not sure what work is waiting for me in TN and if I can’t find anything in my field, I need something to fall back on in the interim. Hopefully, telework-wise. I’m also looking at this as a way to potentially work if we do move abroad in the next few years- which I really want to happen. I had the “am I really doing this?” Feeling, then I read a monthly horoscope I found through a podcast. It said this month, my desire to learn would be heightened and it’s a good time to go back to school, do research, etc etc. For me that was confirmation that yep, time to do this!
