The girls have been watching Preston a lot lately and he annoys me. A lot. He drives me nuts but his wife Bri annoys me more. I saw a pic of him and he looks 12 but I swear he has said she is her wife. Oh yes, the girls also love watching the wife’s channel. I googled him once because I was curious. He’s 26. |

Happy Valentines Day! No plans here, I need to vacuum and get some work done.
Evie woke at 545, complaining of headache. I gave her some Tylenol chewable, and she threw them up. Shes fine now, but tired, so she's relaxing on the sofa watching Fancy Nancy. I want her to take a nap, but she refuses.

What does business casual look like now? Besides this past year in leggings, I've spent the last 10 years working in jeans. The interview I have is a business casual environment, although they were jeans on Fridays.
Is this still slacks/khakis and sweater/not tshirt?

Hi ladies. Pyjama day at home (well pyjamas for me 😉). Not much happening at the nam house today. Last day of playing in the snow for the kids, they made a slide out of snow in the garden and we made cookies. Our crafts trolly (or hobby trolly as we call it 😉) and boxes were a mess, so we cleared and cleaned them out, threw out two trash bags, which felt good. Watching WC distance ice skating and munching on the last batch of Christmas meatballs... yum.

im sorry E isn't feeling well mwhip. I would go with nice slacks and a blouse/sweater for 'business casual'. At most a blazer overtop. |

Good morning.
I made muffins for the kids this morning and they had fun opening their treats. We've been kind of lazy thus far, although now I'm having to deal with 1800 flowers. DH ordered flowers for both me and his mom back in January, and they are MIA. Annoying--what is supposed to be a present is creating more work. (not annoyed at DH, obviously--he was trying to do something nice)
eta: Heard from florist after going on their FB page and they generously offered a 're-delivery' at no additional cost, but no idea when that will be. No info on his mom's arrangement. Gee, thanks. Never using them again, they are terrible.

Not that I work in any sort of business setting but I'd probably wear black pants and a button up shirt. |

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day from the frozen tundra. The actual temp is -17 and with the wind chill it's -40. I feel bad for the patients discharging with tiny babies in this weather. I don't have anyone helping me today, which is actually kind of nice and reminds me of the good ol' pre-covid days. Surprisingly only a few flowers have been delivered so far. When I get off work I'm going to run to the mall to do a return and then home for a nap. I have heart shaped boxes of chocolates to give the big girls and the candy for DH.

I think of it as anything I’d wear to teach in. Dress pants, buttons downs, sweaters, dresses and skirts, but not a suit. |

Each kid got two Reese heart pack, a tube of m&m minis, some Black Forest heart gummies, a book and a small toy
I picked up the Krispie Kreme valentines box for the kids. C wanted to do breakfast in bed for me but I started work before he got up so breakfast at work.
Heart shaped pizza for lunch for the kids and me while C works. Olive Garden for dinner. C will come home to seafood pasta.
Pre-Covid C usually works on the day so (pre-Emma) Logan would take me to Olive Garden. Once Emma was born it would be all 3 of us.

Guys when I started work on Friday I had over 600 emails in my inbox. I now have 35. So today’s half day was so worth it.

Hi.
I woke up with a slight headache. I waited to see if it could go away with coffee, but nope. The large took care of it though.
We are housebound. We got small hail when the weather started around lunch, and that turned into sleet, and the snow has started.
I’m going to start on my soup in a bit and probably do a craft with the boys later. Maybe start a new show.

I did a scavenger hunt for the boys to find their gifts this morning and they loved it. They've been alternating between playing with them and watching tv/tablet all day. 2 of their friends dropped off valentines for them, so now they are busy making cards for their friends and I'll figure out some candy or something to go in it.

Btw if you girls ever need something small to entertain your kid; kinetic sand. My girl loves to play with clay too, but I got her a tiny box and it’ll keep her busy format least 30 minutes . |

I’d still wear a suit, or similar. I used to work in the most casual place possible (you could literally wear sweats) but I still always appreciated when people dressed up. Maybe it’s different cuz east coast/ny though. |

The dog was adorable. 4 months old, a mix of a beagle, a corgi, and a mini pin. It was so loud and crazy, and she was reserved and sweet. She climbed into our laps multiple times, kissed us, and never made a sound or retreated from the chaos.
She doesn’t have the look I thought I wanted, but her temperament was so spot on that it was hard to care about aesthetics.
I’m struggling with the decision bc I finally feel like I will have time for me bc both kids will be in school full time next year and having a dog keeps me more tethered to the house.
I like the way our life is right now. It’s hard to change that.

I started the feel better last night and besides being tired due to the horrible sleep Friday, I’ve felt fine today. So 30ish hours of yuck after the 2nd vaccine wasn’t so bad.
We had a nice day. My parents came by so we went for a walk. My mom brought me some chocolate dipped pretzels and marshmallows that I quickly hid from C. I think he’s eaten more sweats than his weight today! We exchanged valentines with the girls next door and that was cute. We might go sledding tomorrow but it depends on the weather. We are supposed to get snow mixed with freezing rain.
