I cut a good 2-3 inches off of Cadence's hair today. I also ordered some silk pillowcases for her. Trying everything possible to rid our lives of tangles! Can you braid her hair at night? That’s what I have to do for my hair not to be horrible I. The morning. I do a side braid to make it easier to sleep.

I told her to start brushing her hair throughout the day, but of course, she doesn't. She can just be sitting at her desk and her hair tangles. It's ridiculous.

My hair does that too. Try finding shampoo/conditioner with argan oil. I find it helps a little.

M’s hair is like that too.

I have not been able to stop feeling crappy and overwhelmed. It did not help that we got news that schools won’t open for at least another 4 weeks & that school send out an email what they expect from us at home. I have no idea how you girls are doing this for the better part of a year now if I can’t even manage for 5 weeks... I'm so sorry, Nam. Do you think you may have some PPA? No I don’t think so. I’m just setting the bar way to high for myself. I want to be ‘that’ mom, that does crafts, bakes, learns her kid how to read, do math etc etc & be wonderfully patient and fun during it all. I also want to be amazingly sensitive to all three kids needs and fulfil them immediately. This just isn’t feasible, I’d need to be at least two, but possibly three nams . Thank you girls for letting me rant from time to time here.

nam2013 sounds like what you need is a 4th kid. I used to dream big like that then number 4 came and I had no choice but to lower my standards a whole lot. Then the pandemic hit and I dropped them even more. Disney and the makers of Dum Dum lollipops don’t know it, but Rapunzel and lollipops babysat C for 3 days last week when I couldn’t send him to the sitter.
