I have the extra kids today. So I'll spend most of the day following them around cleaning up so I don't have a disaster later tonight. Their dad asked if I could watch them Thursday and I said yes. I'll gladly take the extra cash. And MJ is less clingy with L here to play with.
What's everyone else up to?

The virtual learning place I've been sending S is open for "camp" days this week (M-W). S asked for a stay home day with me, and I was busy with work yesterday so I chose today. I cleared everything off my plate yesterday so we could hang out today.
All he wants to do is play his switch.
I told him 30 more minutes then we are doing something lol.
B is at DC. He is happy to go, and this way S gets some 1 on 1 time.

It’s mommy and L day today. I’m currently waiting for food from Farmer Boys. Then we are baking a couple of cakes then he will read me a few books and then watch a couple of scooby doo episodes.

I just dropped C off and now I’m waiting for a bagel. It’s cleaning lady day and I am very excited! I need to get my ass out for a walk today but otherwise I plan to binge Virgin River.

Y'all want to know a 'miss' gift...Mouse Trap. B/c I'm having to set it up and I am assuming the kids will play it for 5 minutes before a fight will break out and they'll abandon it.

Yesterday we went "skating" at Home Depot. I got the girls off brand Heelys and the smooth floors there were nice for them to learn on. So MH and I randomly browsed empty aisles. The girls had fun.
The light display was really cool and we filled ourselves with fair food.
Today I think I'll finally tackle the decorations. Probably bake gingerbread whatevers too. We don't have a person cookie cutter so we'll have to make a bunch of weird random shapes. I have no idea why but we have a fire hydrant. 🤷♀️

Morning. Another crappy night, apparently I just don’t make good sleepers 😑. It is what it is... Dh took her downstairs this morning and let me sleep for another hour or so. I ordered a bunch of dresses for a family shoot next week (gift from a friend) but the only one that fitted right was a colour that is not my favourite. I ordered one more, but I’m not sure that it’ll arrive on time, so I might have to make do with an old dress...

We have Mario kart, marvel superheroes, a bowling game, and a Kirby game. I was looking for a sports game like the first wii because he loved that game, but they don’t have too many like it. I may end up getting Mario Olympic Games. He would probably like the Pokémon game, too. |

Morning. Less than an hour left at work. We’ll be leaving to go to my moms after lunch. My covid test was negative- no surprise there. Probably just my normal yearly sinus infection. It doesn’t bother me until bedtime so that’s super annoying.
Today is Tuesday and I’m at the second job so that means Roasted red pepper soup with smoked Gouda. It’s my favorite. I need to find a recipe that is similar. Wish I had some naan to dip in it.

Like sometimes he'll spend 30 minutes setting something up to play with it for 5 minutes. I think it's his favorite part. I guess it makes sense, since he loves building legos |

Hello all.
Just at home, entertaining the kids as per. My snapchat shows some of the shit we’ve been doing for the kids; sledding, workshop in the garage with kinetic sand and mecano build, today is target practice set up in the garage with nerf guns, movie nights, baking new recipes, outside play with all the stuff from the shed and their fort outside, nature walks with their new walking sticks etc. The list goes on and on, yet there are still moments where they seem bored and are attached to us. I’m exhausted and dont feel like I’ve had a vacation. I need them to just go away and play on their own for a few hours.
I’ll go find me a snickers now...

vino we know the feeling all to wel... we call ourselves ‘circus last name’ all the time... and I shouldn’t complain because my parents often take te kids for a couple of hours, but still. Here’s your chocolate bar  .
