Oh, and I've been off my meds for 2 weeks now, and feel so balanced!! No anxiety, and when I listened to the Finale of Les Mis I cried an appropriate amount of tears!! Feeling organically motivated to keep the house straightened, rather than by irrational emotions! I missed this centered feeling.

Yesterday we celebrated my Dad’s 65th birthday. So I decided to end Dry January there and enjoyed a nice night with my parents, brother and SO, DH and DD.
I had two glasses of Vinho Verde. By the end of glass two, I was feeling a bit woozy and the booze just wasn’t tasting all that great. So that was the end of last night’s drinking.
I got a bottle of my favourite white, to appreciate and enjoy as a celebration. It’s La Crema Chardonnay. I’m thinking it will sit on my shelf till I have a nice dinner with friends. As I can’t see myself drinking it quickly enough to enjoy it all. Feels a little weird, as I would easily finish a bottle in two days, two months ago.

I'm still here! Made it the whole month. We had a fire last night in the the backyard fire pit, I really wanted to pour a glass of red to have out there but I didn't.
Not sure what I will do for Feb. I keep saying I want to do sugar free February but.....

Day 27, I think. I started on the 4th so I think that's right.
I'm down to continue a check in. MH and I are doing a 6 month transformer Dietbet so I'm hoping to stay mostly alcohol free because it just helps me keep the weight off.
I may have a drink tomorrow after I weigh in as a celebration but haven't decided yet.
Since I've stopped drinking I've: -lost 6 pounds -increased my water intake -sleep better -worked out consistently 4-6 times each week -started running again
