It's 3 hours after my usual reglan dose and I think I'm starting to feel nauseous again. Why can't they just invent a nausea med without any side effects, is that too much to ask???

So I have been itchy around my ankles and wrists basically this whole pregnancy. Mostly when I wake up and in the evening. I thought about cholestasis, but it’s so mild. Sometimes I have almost little bumps, so I thought it might be dry skin? Should I bring this up at my next appointment? Could it be hives? I got contact hives when I was pregnant. My skin sensitivity increased tenfold.

I still take the unisom/b6 combo at night for nausea. I tried going off meds a while ago and nope almost threw up at target. With C is was so nauseous until around 26 weeks or so. With these it’s mild enough but it’s also non stop.

i don’t think so because it goes away during the day. they say that cholestasis doesn’t go away ever. but it’s definitely worth the blood draw to find out! also i’m over 30 weeks and still can’t wean off the nausea meds so don’t feel bad if you can’t yet! Early on with a 3 pregnancies, my cholestasis itchiness was mostly in my hands and feet and generally worse at night. It ebbed and flowed, but I was eventually itchy all the time all over. My boobs were soooo itchy with DD2 and it was so awkward. mine is the worst in my legs and boobs. i can NOT put a bra on or i will itch and itch and itch and itch. no bra no problem. did you have any other symptoms or was it just the itch? my hands and feet aren’t itchy so i’m sure it’s not cholestasis and it’s just my body betraying me. fingers crossed.

Maybe that's different with cloth diapers. Eta. Oh my "changing table" is a dresser i redid for the nursery that's just the right height

So esp at night and when he was in his room during naps, is when I used it the most. I bought one for this baby too as I’m sure it’ll go the same way.

I only used mine with C because it came with the Graco pack n play thing. It came with a bassinet and the changing table. We used it a lot while we lived in our 1 bedroom. After she became too heavy I just laid her in bed next to all her diapers.

Everything else irritated me. I was tired, but when are you not? I didn't have much of an appetite and my pee was also dark no matter how much water I drank. I never got to the point of being jaundice, thankfully.

Constipation tips while pregnant? 🤦🏻♀️ Per midwife I'm taking 400mg of magnesium. And it got gotten a lot better so i quit the stool softener but i started one a day again and it's doing nothing so I'm starting 2 a day but I'm getting desperate and might just take a laxative tomorrow. We generally eat healthy i think so IDK how much i can change my diet besides i haven't made green smoothies quite as often lately cause we got a box of fresh citrus from California.

I've reached the stage of pregnancy where I'm always thirsty. Or maybe it's cause we're running the wood furnace. If I'm home all day it's usually not hard for me to hit 100oz but I guess I should be trying for my bodyweight in oz. At least. Thanks for the reminder. 100oz isn't as much as I was thinking it was 😏.

Manesium citrate when all else fails. And I use it when I was and now not pregnant. It draws water to your colon to loosen your stool and it just comes on out. No cramping or anything like with a laxative. Drink a ton of water with it since it's expelling water from your body. It's super safe and gentle and found at any store with a pharmacy section.

Also try elevating your feet when you poop. The squatty potty idea, but you don't need to actually buy anything new. A step stool, a turned over trash can, a toy bin... whatever is roughly the right height.

lots of spinach and prunes were added to my diet.
daily stool softeners and over 100 ounces of water.
again, i was constipated the entire pregnancy but the above helped some.

I am a change wherever person, BUT in the first couple years, we mainly used either the changer attachment on the PnP (because we kept that in the living room), or the changing table attached to the crib. I think having a changing space is helpful, especially one that is at an ergonomic height where you aren't hurting your back regularly.

TTMA the quad screen
Mine came back as high risk for Down’s syndrome
I’m not going to pretend that I’m not shaken by it.
I’m also not going to pretend that the possibility of a child with severe special needs doesn’t terrify me.
I’m kinda just sitting here, and I don’t know what to feel besides fear

Nonniedee I know how jarring that experience is as I have a DD with Down syndrome. We did an amniocentesis to confirm so we could be as prepared as possible for her arrival. I’m happy to share our experience if you’d like, but I also don’t want to overwhelm. First and foremost though, feel whatever you need to feel. It’s all valid.

They get your blood work and then they count all this other random factors like obesity and race and add that as contributing factors that place high risk to it. I think they look at overall estrogen levels and hcg. Or something like that. Which could also mean other things. Don’t take my word for it though. Also I think they compare those results with whatever you get in the third trimester blood work too. Were your results high high?
