It's the weekend! What's everyone up to?

MH is at work. I didn't sleep well because my phone kept going off about an Amber alert because two little girls were abducted. Thank goodness they were later found.

The kids woke me up at 6, so we’re lounging around until MH wakes up. He has to go into work for a few hours but said he’d take H with him. I need to clean and hopefully purge some more toys.

Morning! I have a bit of a headache because I decided to take my run outdoors in the balmy 15 degree weather. I actually felt okay aside from my thumbs, which went numb a few miles in. Now I have to keep the boys busy so they don't start asking about playing outside. We need to decorate the ornaments we baked the other day and Colin's teacher is stopping by, plus we have a story and some Swedish cookies for the boys from MIL. Hopefully that is enough to keep wrestlemania at bay.

Morning! Nothing much planned today. We are going to pick up the play kitchen for Evie sometime this weekend. I think Evie is going to stay with MIl overnight, which works well because we can go get it, clean it up, and figure out where to hide the thing.

Otherwise just planning in picking which cookies to make for Santa next week.

I just finished the last day of BBM 6 week extreme. I lost 7 pounds! I did not do the diet but I really liked the workouts. I am going to repeat the workouts for another 6 weeks and on January 1, I will work on my diet. I’m determined to wear a bikini this summer when I turn 40.

Morning. I’m at work, training someone new. It’s going well so far. I will get my covid vax right after I get off work. Last night we ordered pizza from pizza ranch (Midwest chain). They have a drive thru window so I don’t have to get out of my car, which is why I like picking up pizza from there. My order was supposed to be done at 6:17, but because of the line I got to the window around 6:25 and my order wasn’t ready. The guy gave me a number and told me to pull up to the curb, they’ll have it out in a few minutes. 30 minutes later I realized how long it had been so I went back up to the window. Apparently they kept messing up my order so they had to remake it 3 times. I got comped my meal and they apologized for how long it too. Still annoying I had to wait that long. I told DH he has to go get the pizza from now on because it seems like I have issues every time. Because it took so long we didn’t go look at Christmas lights, maybe we can do that tonight.

Morning! We are having an early Christmas with the in laws at our house today. BIL and SIL will be here around 2 and are just staying 1 night. I still need to clean house and get to the store for a few things. MH is doing a shop with a cop thing today so meal prep is all on me. 😬 I dislike cooking very much.

Morning all, happy Saturday!

We’re just hanging around having a lazy morning. I’ve got some baking to do this morning, date squares and lemon poppyseed cookies.

This afternoon our sectional is being delivered so we’ve got to vacuum out the old one and put it in the garage. The company cant pick up old stuff now due to restrictions and I thought I’d throw it online for free and some guy claimed it immediately and is picking up tomorrow. I’m excited for the new one, it’s big and super comfy.

We’re researching treadmills right now too, so if anyone has any tips please let me know, hopefully we decide in the next couple weeks.

trtlcrzy I love Pizza Ranch! H introduced me to it 2 summers ago. There isn't one very close to us, maybe an hour away, so not really worth it for pizza and fried chicken.

Morning.

We just ate breakfast. Today I have laundry and need to deep clean bathrooms. Yay! {insert sarcasm}

We’re decorating a gingerbread house later. I bought the pre-made one from Target. I’m sure the boys will be on a sugar high later.

I may wrap some of the gifts from SIL to put under the tree. I never set any out early because I think M will not be patient and open or peek. Since I have her gifts, I will test it out and give him a lesson on patience. 😌

lahdeedah I’m doing the exact thing with B and presents, we’ve always put them all out Christmas eve. There are bunch under there from my cousins family and he is beside himself! It’s comical to watch him squirm a little 😉

Also Hi! Slow Saturday here. Baby girl is already one moths old today. I’m slightly cabin feverish, I don’t feel comfortable taking baby girl anywhere and I’m not ready to not take her with me, so I’ve basically been in my house for a month now. I can’t wait for spring, three more days before the days will start to be longer again.

Boring question: Do any of you have a cordless stick vac? I want something that is better with pet hair (my brush gets clogged about every 4th vacuum, need a bigger brush) but it seems almost everything is cordless now. A bunch of them only have an estimated 20 minute run time on high power. Does that work for you? Any issues with the battery giving out altogether? I've only had corded before.
