That's frustrating klong11. 😾 MH used to be horrible about following up with the kids' homework. He's much better now but for a long time it was a point of contention to constantly fall into my lap when I got home from work. I hope he gets his shit together.

Hiiii. Today was an odd but fun day. Because of the snow, daycare was cancelled, so I took the morning off and DH took the afternoon off to keep the boys (mostly Chase, really) occupied. Chase and I made the salt dough and got that in the oven while Colin started school, then the 3 of us played in the yard during his extended gym class (strict instructions to play in the snow). The boys had hot cocoa afterwards and I primed the ornaments, which we'll apparently decorate this weekend. DH took over from there since I had a training session to run, but honestly I couldn't really focus after such an unexpected morning. It was really nice.

I wrapped a few more presents tonight, not much left. I am feeling pretty well prepared at this point, though we really didn't get much for the boys. It wasn't planned, our families absolutely pilfered our Amazon lists. So they're getting spoiled, just not so much from us. I don't think they'll notice or care!!

mwhip I meant to come back and comment yesterday but I'm so glad E had a good day and the teacher felt like the books/chat helped. Fingers crossed for more positive progress on all fronts.

joelies my family spoils the kids, too, plus there are so many of us. B got a bunch of stuff for his bday I'd been thinking about for Christmas. I do want/need/wear/read plus Santa...so sometimes the stuff under the tree from us is 'boring' but sorry kids, all your aunts and uncles and grandparents have already bought the cool stuff! lol
