So I asked Cadence what she was asking Santa for this year. She said 2 things. 1. the LOL Winter Chalet that is $250. Um, no cause you just got the giant LOL house last year, so maybe i'll get her the $45 clubhouse and say Santa must have gotten confused. And 2. that my mom's dog get healed. Today my mom is going to the vet to have the dog euthanized because she has become paralyzed in her back end and is 12 with congestive heart failure, so really it is her time. Guess what I got to tell Cadence last night? I feel horrible mostly for my mom, she just put her other dog down a few months ago. Cadence is concerned she's going to be lonely.

Your poor mom klong11 I can't imagine losing two dogs in the same year. And that is so sweet of C, I hate that you had to tell her that! Today is my day to run to the office, so I'm getting ready to go do that. Otherwise, nothing too exciting. |

MH left this morning for a week. S is at school. I am curled up on the couch watching season 3 of Absentia. Once I’m done with it I think I’ll move on to season 2 of Virgin River.
I really need to get crafting. I bought all kinds of things to make gifts for teachers and family for Christmas and haven’t started yet. And since I’m new to my Cricut and crafting in general...I need to allow time to mess up a few things before I get it right 😂.

Not much on here. Had a big blow up w B this morning over her horrible attitude and they way she talks to me and mh. Any of your kids like that? She really makes my blood boil and I just can’t even believe a 7yo has the audacity to talk to us the way she does sometimes. I mean I expect it from teenagers but not this age.
I’m really thinking about taking back some of her Xmas gifts but idk if she will really be able to understand that correlation since it’s not an immediate consequence.

Morning. Just hangin at home with V. I’m going to get ready shortly and run to HG/Marshall’s to see if I can find a Christmas dress there. If I can’t find something I think I’ll end up ordering from h&m. Tonight is a work night so I want to make sure V is very well rested.

Hanukkah starts tonight and S is super excited. I definitely overindulged on presents this year, so hopefully the boys are happy.
Of course, MH left for a work trip yesterday and comes back the day after Hanukkah ends, so I told S we would extend it for an extra night so he could celebrate with dad. MH said he should be able to facetime tonight to see the kids get their presents (we usually do big presents the first and last night and littler ones in the middle)

I’m the opposite- I like shows with just a few seasons to binge. Too many seems overwhelming. I really want to watch Ozark...especially since I live in the Ozarks...but there is so many seasons. It seems like such a commitment 😂. |

The one benefit to a non verbal child....although the attitude is still there... Disclaimer: clearly I would prefer my child to speak and communicate. But sometimes you just have to roll with it. |
