The stuff Evie put on her Christmas list is different (except that damn Gotta Go Flamingo) from everything I have bought her so far, but I know she will be fine with what I bought. I totalled up what I've spent, and even though everything was on sale, it's still more than I would usually spend. I have 2 things in my Amazon cart to buy that were on her Christmas list and weren't that expensive, so I'll get those when they won't deliver on the weekend, and she will be done. I’m guilty of buying the flamingo yesterday. I even considered the minion fart blaster, but passed. I wish there was a service to rent the toy for the weekend and then pass it along. We got a minion fart blaster a couple of years ago. I suggested we take it over to my parents (who bought it for him) when we were going over for something. Then when we left I didn't remind him to grab it. It has been there ever since and he fires up the farts for my parents every time! One or two farts are funny. More than that, not so much. Someone taught him how to make fake fart noises on his arm recently so we are back to listening to farts.

I'm feeling better today. Just catching up with work. I am going to walk to the school to pick up C in 1.5hrs and then he has his annual physical. I weighed him and took his height in August to see where he was at vs last year because he gained those quarantine pounds so I have an idea. He has lost the weight but his normal is always 90% or higher.
C needs a haircut but his scalp eczema got out of control again. We haven't dealt with in in a couple of years but it creates scales that mat down the hair and trying to life them up or comb out hurts. I started him back on T-Sal shampoo last week and its going away but I don't want to get his haircut until they are gone so he doesn't accidentally get hurt by one pulling. I just rescheduled mind from Saturday until December 29th. I've heard some concerning statistics lately about diabetes and COVID death so I am keeping myself bubbled as much as possible.

I’m sooooo hungry and ready for a good meal. For the past few days I’ve been eating healthier and none of my meals have been fulfilling. I want some bomb ass takeout or something right about now.
I also think it’s that time of the month- hard to know exactly when because iud. I want to eat any and everything these days so it’s probably is.

My goodness to all these kids who don't have holiday lists! The second the Target or lego catalog comes in, S circles everything he wants. Which is like half the catalog.
The kid knows what he wants.

Does anyone want a whiny 4.5 year old? Every morning S cries and says she doesn’t want to go to school. She always has a ton of fun there so I’m not sure what the issue is. It’s getting really old to have to deal with it. I ran to target while S was at school to pick up a few more roll of wrapping paper and some more gift tag stickers. I bought some last year, they are selling them again this year, and half the sheet is stickers with things like “no peeking” written on them. I don’t want that and don’t use them. The first of my weekend packages are arriving today and hopefully all of the matching jammies come so I can get pics of the kids and order our card.

My kids are the same. H started her Christmas list in like June. It mostly consists of things like “15 hatchimals”. The weirdest thing that H is asking for, and has actually wanted for quite a while is a toy microwave. She will be getting it for Christmas.

My kids do this to. But then we do the same thing my mom did when we where kids, we take away the catalog & ask what they want, the idea being that if they really want it they’ll remember. Add to that that most things ds plays with are not in a toy catalog (outside Lego’s).

The teacher spent over 20 minutes this morning going around to each kid asking if they wanted a virtual high five, hug, or handshake. Cadence lost interest very quickly with her. Then they started having internet issues and the teacher was freezing and disappearing altogether. Not a good school morning.
Plus, they sent out a link yesterday to a coding game for the kids to try, but it asked for a class code, which they did not give us. I texted the class group text, but no one responded. Thanks guys!

Maddie wants everything under the sun. Cass usually just wants a few things which makes it a bit harder.
Yesterday stupid Target delivered the LOL house. It's huge. Insanely huge. And the box was just the toy with no outer packaging. 🤦♀️ Maddie saw it. She is being good about it though. She tried to play it cool and we let her know we know, but asked that she still please keep it a secret for Cass. She's happy to get the magic alive.

Lol at Minion fart blaster. I used to have a keychain farter. Hit a button and it makes different fart sounds. I had it with me in officer school and occasionally I'd hit it when I was bored off my ass. #mature

I've always cut MH's hair. M and I are good for another year. Cass could use a trim. I think I'll try this weekend.

Currently sitting in line at the pharmacy with a sleeping Mallory. Hoping to talk them into selling me Sudafed through the drive thru. I'm not making meth, I swear. But my skin may actually burst if I don't stop producing milk 😭

Happy Thursday! We’ve been busy this week. S had an infusion on Tuesday, yesterday MH and I cut and split firewood, burned leaves, cleaned gutters, and cleaned the garage. Today I have rearranged S’s room, organized the toy room/craft room, and am now putting up my Christmas tree finally. I think tomorrow I will do a whole lot of nothing!
Sierra’s bald spots from her alopecia are growing larger and where there isn’t bald spots it is thinning a ton. It’s making fixing her hair quite challenging.

mwhip what did she ask for? I'm anxiously awaiting what Cadence asks Santa for. I'm hoping it's something I've already purchased. LOL Dolls Biggie Little Dipper (In my Amazon cart) Stuffed animals (no. we have a ton) LOLs Barbies Art Stuff Toy Food Toy Kitchen And the damn flamingo I did get her a big LOL surprise that is usually $100 at Target on bomb deals for $60, so that is covered. And I got her some Barbie clothes. And some little crafty thing, plus a paint your own unicorn, so I'm kind of covered. But the kitchen...she had one, it got too small and we gave it away, with the food, which she agreed to, earlier this summer. She's too tall for the toy kitchens I see online so I'm not buying her another.

Got home from picking her up from school one day and there was a box on the step. I actually backed into my garage, saw the box, pulled back out to get a better look, realized it was the actual box, backed back in, and somehow, she didn't see it either time. I was like...Thanks Amazon! And the box wasn't that big...why they didn't package it inside a corrugate box is so beyond me.

inthekitty the worst! They did that with the kids scooters we ordered for Sinterklaas! I also hate that the box was covered in stickers with our adres etc. I was lucky enough the kids weren’t home.

mwhip, we just got rid of Cadence's play kitchen, but I did get her a diner for her AG dolls. So just a different version of a play kitchen/play food. Cadence didn't ask for any of the new big LOL stuff, just little ones like the video game ones and some all stars. She asked for a drone game that at first I said no to, but the joelies was saying her boys had a lot of fun with it, so I went ahead and got that. I'm also working on getting a lot of the AG book series, which she probably won't be into just yet, but I'm hoping one day she will. I bought her a bunch of new leggings, but I had to go ahead and put those in her drawer because she didn't have any pants to wear that fit and it got too cold for shorts and skirts.

I got B a present from amazon that came in as the box for the present with an amazon sticker popped on it so anyone could see. Thank goodness the kids didn't see it and I hid it really quickly. So annoying... especially for toys!

Hi! I've had a day of doing nothing but household stuff and it's been glorious. C's home but has been content playing or watching a Christmas movie today, bless her. I may be the outlier on hair, but my kids have been going every 3-4 weeks (B) and 6ish weeks (C) since May. Their hair grows so fast and B's in particular is so thick and has some texture, it takes someone who knows what they're doing (i.e., not me!) peachsmama the kids' salon is the same way...feels super safe. The owners are a mother-daughter team and the mom is a former nurse so she's on it--their procedures are impeccable.

B's been pretty consistent on his wish list...a few things have been added but the 'core' has stayed intact, ha. C just wants "a Barbie dream house" and will occasionally mention small random things, but they change constantly. Their big Santa gifts are the BDH and an air hockey table for B--that will be a total surprise but one I think he'll love. I'm trying to go with fewer but nicer things vs. a lot of small junk.

flamingo ds’ is the same, so thick and with a little texture... My mom will cut dds hair, but does not want to go near ds! I can get away with longer intervals, since his hair is longer, so he goes every 8-10 weeks. Eta our salon is a two person place, when we have a appointment, we’ll be the only ones there.

But the cheaper Target version because holy shit...AG stuff is crazy expensive. She got a catalog last week and circled pretty much everything. My mom is picking her up from school today and told me to put the catalog in her backpack and they will go through it this afternoon.
