I made a haircut appointment for a Charlie and I’m really second-guessing myself. Obviously, everybody’s masked up, but because he’s ticklish with the buzzer, it definitely takes about 25 minutes, and she’s up real close to him. Our numbers are steadily getting worse, so I may cancel. I think I would’ve felt better about getting it in the week before Thanksgiving because of the potential for gatherings.

Also, I have been so worried that I haven’t been finding enough for Josie for Christmas (at seven she’s already so hard to shop for) so I have been doing random orders usually at night in bed when something pops into my mind), and that all showed up yesterday and now I think I have even more for her than I do for Charlie. Whoops!

Morning! Not sure if I mentioned, but the kids COVID tests were negative. I'm not surprised but still a relief. I'm back at work today so I'm excited to go see my dad!

guster Ds had no wish list ‘Sinterklaas knows what I like, he’ll think of something’... well thanks kid 🤦🏼♀️. Plus I’m in the same situation with the kids haircuts... we have an appointment for Tuesday, Ds really really really needs one, so I can’t skip it for him. But dd... 🤷🏼♀️.

When I asked Josie she just says, “I’m happy with whatever.” And I think she means that, but I’d like something that had a little more staying power than an hour of fun. |

I’m going to skip the haircut and do it the week or so before Christmas. Then I can justify it more in my head by saying it’s at least two weeks after Thanksgiving.

I'm in the same boat with haircuts. I just don't feel comfortable. MH cut C's and it looks.... okish. I just trim up A's curls here and there and it looks...okish as well haha.

Just got my allergy stabs. This new nurse did them a lot closer to me elbow than normal. It feels weird.
Cadence has to log in with a different teacher today. Hers is headed out of town to try and see her mother who was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday.

Cadence and I have cut mh's hair twice this covid. The first time we buzzed it all the way down and he freaked. The second time we kept it a bit longer. 😁
I need to trim Cadence's and my hair. I'll do hers first to test my long hair skills.

Morning! Today is my day to go into the office. Going to take Christmas cards to the post office and grab a few groceries while I'm out.
Evie doesn't get hair cuts often, I just had mine cut and colored this past weekend and I felt like we were safe. My stylist had tested negative twice the week before and just started seeing clients again the day before I came in.
The stuff Evie put on her Christmas list is different (except that damn Gotta Go Flamingo) from everything I have bought her so far, but I know she will be fine with what I bought. I totalled up what I've spent, and even though everything was on sale, it's still more than I would usually spend. I have 2 things in my Amazon cart to buy that were on her Christmas list and weren't that expensive, so I'll get those when they won't deliver on the weekend, and she will be done.

No haircuts for me or E this whole time. C shaves his head and trims his own beard. I attempted to cut L’s hair and C fixed my attempt. C cuts L’s hair for now

Morning.
Trying to make it to Friday here.
The week before Thanksgiving I almost panicked and went to get a haircut because of the beginning of the surge. I decided I don’t really need one and I will try to maintain until after the first of the year and hope it will be safer then.
M2 has a Christmas thing at his school today. Santa is supposed to be there, so I dressed him in a holiday shirt. Not sure what all they will be doing, but it sounded like it should be fun for the kids.

I've been cutting everyone's hair. I get mine trimmed every 10 weeks and my eyebrows waxed. We all wear masks and all tools and chairs are sanitized between clients.
I think my nail salon is the cleanest and safest place in the state lol. They take your temp with a forehead scanner as you walk in, you go straight to the sink and wash your hands. You pick a clean pen and sign in and stand until your tech is ready. Everything is cleaned between clients. They have plexiglass hanging between us and they wear masks and faceshields. And clients obviously wear masks. Same for pedicure chairs. There's plexiglass hanging between us. And they all wear gloves the entire process and get clean for each client.

Matthew is easy for Christmas. Jackson not so much. He wants things that don't exist. Like a toy grain elevator. It exists but not in the size he wants for a specific tractor..
