Good morning. I am glad it’s Monday and the kids are back to school. I have a target order to pick up but otherwise I don’t have anything scheduled for today. I would really love a nap later, I stayed up too late last night and then was up early this morning. wineallthetime I hope your dad’s surgery goes well and he has a fast recovery. |

It was pretty hard getting Cadence up this morning. She's logged in now but isn't happy about it.
All the kids are remote this week due to the holiday.
I have a Target order to pick up. Apparently if I don't get it by today it gets cancelled, so I may try to swing by before work.

Really snowy day here so the kids are excited. They always play with another first grader a few doors down outside during breaks but she's starting to bug me. She started out so sweet and calm but now she doesn't really listen and is annoying. She's the only person the kids play with other than their cousins so I suppose I should suck it up.

Morning. Not much on the agenda today outside baby snuggles. My parents just picked a Christmas tree for us, we put it in the yard for now, but they were selling like hot cakes and I did not want an ugly three. The my mom finished ds’ stilts for Sinterklaas and they turned out amazing! He will be so pleased with them.
Also ds’ lost his front tooth last night and he receiving his swim diploma today (after almost two years of lessons, which is normal here). My baby boy is getting soooo big! I may or may not have cried when he showed me his GAP smile 🙄.

Both kids are back to normal and it’s my last day of vacation. I finished all my homework for my last project manger class last night a week early so I get an extra week off. C normally has Mondays off so we are getting a ton of things done.
I’m taking kids to school and DC, then I have to go into L’s school and drop off the cupcakes and the money for after school care. Then the post office to get some items mailed, next the bank, then Office Depot. Then home to help C decorate for Christmas. Hopefully we get done before needing to pick up the kids.

Hello from the chiropractor office. I just got an adjustment and now am waiting for a massage. This afternoon I will be doing a little housework. Tomorrow S gets her infusion hopefully. Was supposed to be last Tuesday but she had a fever so she couldn’t do it. We have gone from every 4 weeks to now getting them every 8 weeks. So far only minimally noticeable changes in her hand function when we are nearing the end of the 8 weeks.

My poor mom. They had to get to the hospital at 5:30 and they're estimating surgery will be done at 7pm. Then she has to wait to talk to the surgeon and drive 1.5 hours back home.

Girls are in school. I think when they're done this afternoon I'll force them to go to a nature trail with me and pick up our Christmas cards from Costco.

Am I the only one whose kid is still off today? Which neither DH or I realized so we are both wfh. L is currently banging on random things in the house...I think making music? It's gonna be a long day If L’s school didn’t push the first day of school by a month he would have had it off |

Smokey called in before I got to work saying she had been sick since Saturday. Her boss said don't come in. Guess who just effing walked in? She said shes been throwing up since Saturday and has no idea why. I don't care why she;s vomiting, all I know is that I don't want to vomit, so if she could please take her illness back home instead of showing up to contaminate the office that would be great.
WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST STAY HOME?????!!!!

School has decided now would be a good time to add to Cadence's asynchronous Wednesday....again. First it was just morning meeting, then she had all day to do her assignments and whatnot. Then for November they decided that specials was no longer optional on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so she has to log in for whatever waste of 20 minutes they have assigned that day (art, music or pe) Don't get me wrong, I think those things are important, just not this year, not through remote learning, just give them those 2 days off from it. So now this week they've added a computer lab class. Computer lab, really? These 6 & 7 year olds have mastered the art of Zoom this year, I think that's enough computer learning for the year. Give them a freaking break! And of course it's on Wednesday and the timing for it sucks because that's usually when we are driving to my office. So I'll have to try and rearrange it a bit so that she can still come to the office with me and do her stupid computer lab class.

Morning all.
It is chaos...again...over here. The weekend was unexpectedly a little busy. We decided to cash in on some black Friday sales and bought a new sectional for the basement, its so damn cozy and cannot wait until it gets here. The contractors are here right now for the kitchen/bathrooms reno! I'm so excited.
Also, our neighbour friends have both tested positive for covid, mild symptoms so far but with two kids 7 & 5 so scary. So I ran errands for them a few times over the weekend and now we're thinking of ways we can get their dog out for a walk, but she is concerned about the dog infecting us...and I get it, but I just wanna help!

Morning. I had to hit the ground running when I arrived at work this morning. We have a full schedule, but it’s finally slowing down. I was really looking forward to my days off Wed and Thursday, but there is still someone out at work because of a covid positive family member, so I agreed to work all week. I overdid my online shopping this weekend, so I need to take advantage of the work opportunities. 😒 wineallthetime Hope the surgery goes well today. Are you able to bring your mom food while she’s there? klong11 WTF lady?! Someone should make her go home! |
