This is probably a very unpopular opinion but I hate my steam mop. I kind of want the oCedar one as well but I really have the best luck with just a hot hot hot bucket of water and a regular string mop or even rags.

Yeah, it’s totally personal preference. I’m actually prob in the minority nowadays bc most people are loving the ‘luxury vinyl plank’ or laminate, but I don’t care for them. I loved my engineered hardwood at my old house, so I think that’s what we’ll opt for here. To me that was the best of both worlds. The laminate that’s here *looks* nice (you have to get down on hands and knees to see it’s not wood) but I just don’t like the texture or sound of walking on it 🤷🏻♀️ I very much wanted the o cedar mop on sale today..but did not buy it since the deal wasn't that great. I started following gocleanco on instagram and they rec that mop used with water and tide powder. I am now deep cleaning in my spare time. I followed their instructions on cleaning my dishwasher and it looks fabulous..granted I did get a headache from the bleach. I have old hard wood floors and I use a knockoff norwex mop with water..and by "use", it is def not frequently enough. I love them lately! So many of their hacks have helped like especially on my windowsills. My sister-in-law did that laundry straining (is that what it is called?) the other day and oh my God it actually is as disgusting and as satisfying as they say it is.

Right? In my next life I'm coming back with a daily maid Me too... and a chef... I’ll trade the chef for somebody to and do my hair (and nails if they need it) every morning.

Same here, I used it for a while but it kinda felt like it didn't really get a good clean. I have a spin mop like the oCedar and it is a game changer, I do really hot water with a tad of Mr Clean over the floors change the water then go over it again with hot water and vinegar, it really cuts through anything left on the floor and leaves it feeling clean.

I just looked it up again. It’s called laundry stripping. It’s a mix of like tide and borax and something else and super hot water and it’s for things that are clean from your washing machine but probably hold a lot of dirt and grime because you use them l to work out in or cloth diapers or for kids sports uniforms. Basically, you let it sit in the washing machine (a top loader ) or in your bathtub and it pulls out every tiny bit of dirt in the fibers. The water in the tub pretty much turns black.

Shiiiiiit if I didn't color my hair, my entire head would be white. It has changed the texture of my hair, too. I now have these whacked out waves I have to straighten. This is me too. I have to dye my hair every 4 weeks because the whole top of my head is white.
